So if you listen to BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems on a Saturday, you may hear MistaJam use a bed frequently that sounds very dancy and catchy. It's made by Jacob Plant and today he turned it into actual song with vocals! It's being described as Radio 1's Ibiza Anthem and Jacob has got Becky Hill to turn the Dance Anthems bed into a full anthem called Only Love.

 

Brilliant work from Jacob, Becky and the Radio 1 team for turning this into a proper song. It's currently exclusive to Radio 1 but I would love to see an official release of this. If it doesn't though, go to today's Dance Anthems show (14th July) and listen from 1:56:15 to hear the song. You have 30 days to enjoy it if it doesn't get released.

So I tweeted Jacob Plant to ask if it's getting a release and he just said 'We will see', which hopefully means yes :lol:

Danny Howard premiered his own remix of this on his show last night! They literally play this every week on dance anthems now, it needs to be released properly before the hype dies down. They’re in Ibiza next weekend, would be a shame if this isn’t out on Friday to coincide with that.

This would easily be a False Alarm sized hit. I haven't been impressed with many releases this year, this would score high for Becky!

They've missed a trick by not releasing this over the Ibiza weekend/the week after when all the highlights are being played though, which is a shame. They should definitely still release, as R1 would undoubtedly playlist it + help it chart.

Jacob Plant has now confirmed this is not being released at all and it was only intended to be a special commission for Radio 1 in Ibiza. Lost opportunity for a hit there! :(
