Absolutely incredible performance! It sounds like if Bastille had released the song without Marshmello.

Would have been fantastic if it had reached #1 in the US. Could it have missed its chance?

Depends how front loaded Ariana's song turns out to be, it could eventually reach #1 when she starts dropping but I get the feeling she'll have enough staying power to hold this off.

This track has finally just clicked with me after many weeks. I think the sweet video helped (dogs always help). Really liking it now!

It was 12 points from #1, if Ariana didn’t release the 7 Rings Remix then it would’ve been #1 :(

Bastille had to claim the title of international kings of #2 after all *.* (would have been nice to see it hit #1 but ah well).

Yeah this was the song’s last chance at #1. Guess we’re gonna have to wait even longer for Marshmello to get on top, so this next song better stay there for over 10 weeks to make up for it

To be honest, I still reckon Pompeii is still Bastille's most 'iconic' song and probably will continue to be.

yes, doesn't even come close to Pompeii

I’d still say that Happier is bigger than Pompeii though

Right now it is - but I reckon in 10 years time Pompeii will be more remembered and more associated with them.
