Six new entries to feast on this week, and a brand new #1 too! After seven weeks in the Top 40 Countdown, Au/Ra manages to reach the top spot with Panic Room courtesy of a major remix by Camelphat. It ends a three week stint at the top for Virtual Self who drop a place this week. This week’s highest new entry, and also this week’s Track Of The Week comes from a lady whose already been enjoying a good chart run on the Top 40 Countdown with her previous single, but Jess Glynne’s new single is the highest new entry with All I Am. Two major climbers into the Top 10 this week, both decent dance records, and the highest peaking one at #4 this week is Dynoro & Gigi D’Agostino. There are new Top 10 entries for Marshmello & Bastille, along with M-22 respectively. The biggest climber this week is Darkside which also features Au/Ra. CliQ also enter the Top 10 to reach a new peak. Outside the Top 10 there are plenty of drops but few climbs. Calvin Harris & Sam Smith have a new joint entry this week which misses out on the Top 10, and further down there’s a new entry for Disclosure, who themselves climb also this week. Both Ultimatum and Moonlight have reasonable success this week. The Chainsmokers move into the Top 30 also. This week’s biggest faller isn’t George Ezra, but he does fall a big 15 places in a single week. The lowest new entry this week is from Boston Bun with their catchy single Spread Love. The biggest faller is Let Me Live which falls 16 places this week. Exiting the Top 40 this week are Kiesza, Watermät, Rudimental, Post Malone, Childish Gambino and Zedd. Nice to see Clap Clap on its way up, an absolute earworm and a great dance piece! I feel like this one could possibly outlast the summer for me as well. Not actually heard One Bit/Louisa yet actually, giving a listen now, it's quite nice to listen to but I agree with others that it's very subpar compared to My Way! Darkside is quite nice, going back to the sound of Alone which is my favourite Alan single so that's nice. Will be interesting to see how it grows on me though! August 29, 20186 yr hi Wardy! Great to see Panic Room claim #1 here! It's in for a long chart run for me (about to spend its 10th week in my top 10), still loving it. Yas for Queen Jess making the top 3 instantly! All I Am is proper brilliance! :heart: A big jump for In My Mind too, it's just made a big jump in my chart too! :dance: Happier is one of Marshmello's better songs of recent, glad it seems to be doing well and giving Bastille another smash too. Quite like the new M-22 song too, not sure if it'll do anything chart wise but hopefully they can make a dent on the chart with it soon, now that First Time is on ACR. Darkside and Clap Clap are great top 10 additions too. Promises is yet another great song from Sir Calvin Harris! Also love the new Disclosure song that charts here. Great chart!!
August 29, 20186 yr Panic Room finally makes it to your number one! Great to see the big climb for In My Mind, a top five debut for Marshmello & Bastille, and I'm a big fan of Darkside so glad to see that into the top ten (wish it would have UK chart success though!).
