Reviews are in and this has 88% on Metacritic, can't wait to get it in a month or so when I can!!

 

I haven't moved to this gen yet but I think this game may change that. I loved Spider-man 2 back in the day and the mechanics of this game look very similar.

This is a truly incredible game, finally got it today and played an hour or two! I'm in awe of the graphics and the incredibly intuitive flow of both combat and swinging across the map. A game like this has the potential to get boring with the combat but there's so many different ways that you can tackle enemies that always have to think and change things up so it all felt such a rush and like I said so intuitive, you pick it up and really get the feel for it in minutes despite the fact it's somewhat complex with a lot of options. The map is so vast too, there seems to be so much to do as you swing around so you can easily get sidetracked going to the next main bit of the story, but that's not a bad thing it just prolongs the game even more!
