I'm also interested to see how long chart runs can be with songs that avoid ACR again and again like Girl Like You!

Dan you sure all these are going on ACR??

cos 2 Fridays ago, a lot of songs dropped but very small drops

for instance Body went from 44,265 to 43,700, Tyga from, 33,350 to 32,100

that week the market (overall) had a big drop of 4,5%

not that good at percentages but seems to me that Body dropped for sure less than the market, not sure about Tyga

Yes we're pretty sure.

I have no qualms with songs like Eastside, Body and Taste going to ACR. I've said it before but they're the exact reason that ACR exists - they've peaked, are unlikely to repeak (and of course, Eastside can't) and are taking up space in the top 10 that could be used to promote fresher music.

but if a song drops less than the market, it's not considered a drop, right?

this is the data for Body:

36650 (this Friday)

43400

43700

44265. (3 weeks ago)

on the week that it went from 44265 to 43700, thats a 1% drop, but that week the market dropped 4.5%,

so the song dropped far less than the market

just trying to understand how it all works

The 4.57% drop that week was on paid for sales - the market as a whole increased by 1.15%.

btw Eastside may initially stay top 10 despite going to ACR.

I see now, thanks for clarifying, appreciated
'Eastside', 'Body', 'Taste', 'Girls Like You', 'No Brainer', 'Fefe', 'Panic Room', 'Side Effects', maybe 'Happy Now', '6 30' and 'I'm a Mess' too.

Basically everything Dan suggested a couple of posts ago.

Midweeks confirm the following;

Eastside 2-7

Body 5-14

Taste 6-23

Girls Like You 11-30

No Brainer 15-49 !!

Fefe 34-94 !!!!

Panic Room 48-87

Happy Now 51-OUT

6:30 64-OUT

Side Effects 94-OUT

I'm a Mess 99-OUT

We have a good idea of next week's casualties and they should be:

Dennis Lloyd - Nevermind

Travis Scott - Sicko Mode

Tyga - Swish

Skepta - Energy (Stay Far Away)

Travis Scott - Stargazing

Victims of ACR this week will be:

B Young - 079ME

David Guetta feat. Anne-Marie - Don't Leave Me Alone

About time for both of those.

Victims of ACR this week will be:

Not sad about either of those going to ACR. Surprised that there are only two casualties this week though?

Well we have to make up for the long list of ACR victims from a few weeks ago I guess, there can't always be a load of those.

Baby Shark was due to go to ACR too but obviously that got a big 'boost' due to the OCC actually counting its video streams this week, though it was on track to get a (small) sales increase anyway.

Could be a few more next week, Promises, Breathin, Best Life, TooTime will all be victims if they don't get a sales boost.

Promises looks like it has slightly increased in sales which sucks as I was hoping for it to hit ACR

next week's victims of ACR will be

LSD - Thunderclouds

Bazzi ft Camila - Beautiful

Skepta ft WizKid - Energy (Stay Far Away)

Imagine Dragons - Natural

next week's victims of ACR...

Marshmello ft Bastille - Happier

Dynoro & Gigi D'Agostino - In My Mind

Eminem ft Joyner Lucas - Lucky You

iLL BLU et al. - Chop My Money

that opens up 2 spots in the top ten.

Suprised Be Alright, All I Am and High Hopes have potentially managed to avoid again seems like they’ve been falling for a few weeks now

Those three should move to ACR the week after next, alongside Promises, Electricity, I Love It and Homerton B.

this Sigala has sadly peaked, think Halsey, Thursday and MK have more chances than Sigala to go top 10 next week
