September 23, 20186 yr Excited for this! I wasn't expecting an album any time soon but a new single would be more than welcome. Could someone reproduce the details from the article please? I'd prefer not to click a link to the Sun...
September 23, 20186 yr Excited for this! I wasn't expecting an album any time soon but a new single would be more than welcome. Could someone reproduce the details from the article please? I'd prefer not to click a link to the Sun... CHERYL will finally have her say about her split from Liam Payne – in an explosive comeback single. We can reveal the track is called Love Made Me Do It and it focuses on her painful split from the One Direction singer and her other failed romances. It comes just two months after her split from Liam, the father of 18-month-old son Bear. We’re told Cheryl sings about how she is a “sucker” as she “falls in love” with “every f***er” in the expletive-ridden track. A source said: “It is a very edgy pop-dance track and not a typical song which you would expect from Cheryl. It’s been nine years since Cheryl released debut single Fight For This Love, which shot to No1, and the change in direction documents her tough time in love. After divorces from footballer Ashley Cole and Jean- Bernard Fernandez-Versini, and her heartbreaking split from Liam this year, Cheryl is singing less about defiantly fighting for a troubled relationship and more about how she’s been let down. We previously revealed Cheryl’s new album had been inspired by her suffering after she recorded pop track Let You, with the lyrics focusing on giving a man she loved a voice but forgetting she had one, too. And last month The Sun told how Cheryl dumped Liam because she felt she had been left to raise their son on her own after the singer travelled around the world to promote his solo pop career. No doubt Cheryl — set to make her TV return next year in new BBC show The Greatest Dancer — will be hoping her efforts fare better than Liam’s. None of the tracks made it into the Top 40, despite one featuring hip-hop heavyweight French Montana. We’re sure Liam will be putting in a pre-order for Cheryl’s single. xx
September 23, 20186 yr xx Thanks babe! I'm taking it all with a pinch of salt - crazy to think that she hasn't released any music since she married Jean-Bernard and now she's been divorced and split up with Liam since then :o
September 23, 20186 yr Will be interesting to see how a new Cheryl single fares in the charts of 2018. Either way, Call My Name 2.0 pls Chez x
September 30, 20186 yr According to The Sun, she will perform the song on the X Factor in November. Better be true!
October 1, 20186 yr Cheryl just responded to someone on her recent IG asking where the music is and she responded with "on its way 🎉".
October 4, 20186 yr Yessss :w00t: :cheer: :cheer: Guessing she could go top 10 with this possibly a sales #1
October 4, 20186 yr I'm interested to see how she does considering when she was last around it was 4 years ago and the entire climate was completely different. Edited October 4, 20186 yr by Tawdry Hepburn
October 4, 20186 yr It's tough to really call how this will go. I don't want to see a flop badly damage her music career but the quality of the music is more important than ever, and she can be hit-and-miss. Definitely more Call My Name and less anything that came after.
