Wow this is going to come down to the wire. If sales carry on like yesterday, A Star Is Born will take it, but it's definitely going to be close.

 

It'll sell 10x what Trench does in the long run, but I really want Gaga to get a number 1 from this. What an album.

For me Funky Friday will be one of the most surprising top two debuts in years, I know Dave has had decent building hype over the last 18 months but this is a big step up in success from his previous releases.

To be honest I don't think anyone saw it coming :lol: its got a good chance of dethroning Calvin & Sam, but there is a lot of data still missing, I really can't call it

Lady Gaga closed the gap by 2000 on 21 Pilots.

It may end up extremely close based on that, and maybe (however small) Lady Gaga could take it.

Nothing against Gaga at all but I hope Trench is the number one album this week because it's pretty good and Twenty One Pilots haven't had a chart topper yet, while Lady Gaga has already had three number one albums.

Don't think it's outside of the realms of possibility for Dave to get to #1.

 

I think it's very unlikely this week but it could next week, depending on how Little Mix perform!
