To clarify, Shallow is back at iTunes #1 now but was briefly displaced again by LM for the last half an hour.

I can't believe Radio 1 still hasn't added 'Shallow'.
Little Mix will probably overtake Promises and Shallow tomorrow morning I’d say. New releasss always struggle from Friday night - Sunday night.

They hate GaGa as she releases pop and leftfield pop at that

Shallow is benefitting from the film at the weekend - it was to be expected.

LM will be number 1 again from tomorrow as radio will start playing it more.

Not sure if Little Mix fans listen to radio much and if they do, they use spotify, not itunes

Little Mix consistently perform better on iTunes than Spotify though.

Shallow is stunning, Little Mix's new single is no better than the new Olly Murs. Pretty tacky tbh

I don’t think it will actually? They’ll remain stable but I would be surprised to see them climb to number one on iTunes again, especially considering they benefit from being a bit front loaded.

Also so happy to see the positive impact Strictly has had on Just Got Paid! Hopefully it can remain top 10 on iTunes for a while and manage a top 10 peak, it just needs to hurry up on Spotify!

Just an observation, but we've had 15 number ones already this year and we're only 3/4 in - it seems as though the public have got fully accustomed to streaming now instead of playing the same songs for months on end.

I wonder if next year will be the first since 2014 to exceed having more than 20 chart toppers?

81. Backstreet Boys - Everybody (Backstreet's Back)

94. Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way

Loved their Strictly performance tonight, 9 year old me was happy :D

Interestingly if it were up to audio streaming only we'd only have had 7 new number ones this year (8 if you count Three Lions)

05 Jan Ed Sheeran "Perfect" (3) {5 total}

^26 Jan Drake "God's Plan" (11)

^13 Apr Drake "Nice For What" (2)

27 Apr Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa "One Kiss" (10)

^06 Jul Drake ft. Michael Jackson "Don't Matter To Me" (1) †

13 Jul Baddiel, Skinner & The Lightning Seeds "Three Lions" (1)

20 Jul Drake "In My Feelings" (6)

31 Aug Benny Blanco with Halsey & Khalid "Eastside" (6)

12 Oct Dave ft. Fredo "Funky Friday" (1)

taking in the OCC adding in video streaming halfway through the year, you get 8 new number ones instead of 7.

Kylie Minogue and Jack Savoretti coming at midnight tonight!

Musics too sad without you. Christmas edit.

Get ready for pick up of streaming in a few weeks

Thanks for the post Dankenstein, interesting. Will always be keeping an eye out on the charts but don't have the interest that I did! Maybe I'm just bitter as a lot of my favourite artists have no chance of success at the moment but it's a frustrating time for me.

"Fully accustomed" seems like such a stretch, it's still so stale and stagnant.

337th Music's Too Sad Without you. Kylie Minogue and Jack Savoretti. Video coming later today
Airplay seems to be kicking in big time for Shallow now!
