The competition for #1 is much weaker now than it was when 'no tears left to cry' came out isn't it? Not heard this new song yet anyway but I did really enjoy the singles from her last album so hopefully this will be good as well, will be nice for her to finally get another #1 regardless ~

I think people are overestimating the power of Hot Hits... if song doesn't click, any exposure wouldn't make it to top ten.

 

I think it-s bit of stretch to say "all Carly needs is a Hot Hits add".

 

Well that's debatable, but even so a song generally needs it to even stand a cat in hell's chance of making the Spotify chart at all.
