MINOGUE'S FESTIVE INVITATION

Pop star KYLIE MINOGUE could be sharing her Christmas Day (06) dinner with ROBBIE WILLIAMS, after inviting the British singer round for a festive meal. The SPINNING AROUND hitmaker was reportedly stunned to hear Williams would be spending his holiday by himself, because touring commitments in her native Australia would keep him away from his family. In return for inviting her to perform their duet KIDS at one of his gigs, Minogue wants the RUDEBOX singer to celebrate with her relatives instead. A source says, "Robbie had let it be known that he was staying on in Australia for a holiday after his tour had ended. And when Kylie heard about it she couldn't bear the thought of him spending Christmas alone - or in a hotel room. "So she has extended an invitation to come to the family home for lunch." Minogue's own cancer-interrupted tour starts in Sydney next week (11NOV06).

I like Kylie. She's about the only female singer I have any time for.

Do you know what? They are really starting to annoy me.

Yeah, like he has any intention of re-joining them.

And Howard, just in case you are reading this, (as if) I was going to buy the new TT album. Now I'm not. Way to go, dude.

I still just think of that David Walliams 'Howard' on Rock Profiles. With the lisp. :P

Awww...that is incredibly sweet.

She seems like such a geniune person.

I <3 Kylie!

I have never liked that Howard. <_<

And tbh I am getting bloody sick of TT constantly mentioning Robbie ALL THE TIME and then having the utter cheek to say they don't need him

Robbie unlike TT has moved on as an artist. He have become a million times bigger than TT ever were or ever will be. He does'nt need to go back in time to have succes. Boybands are not means to be middle aged men

Every article about TT is "Robbie this, Robbie that" if you don't need him then stop using his name all the time

This is from yesterdays' sun  I'm sure this is just made up by Vicky like 90% of the things she write

Robbie and Kylie's Xmas turkey

http://images.thesun.co.uk/picture/0,,2006520345,00.jpg

KYLIE MINOGUE has invited ROBBIE WILLIAMS to have Christmas dinner at her place Down Under.

It’s a lovely image. Two pop stars pulling a cracker over some delicious moist turkey breast.

Kylie has agreed to join Robbie on stage when he performs the last show of his world tour in her home town of Melbourne on December 18.

Her own rescheduled Showgirl tour — cancelled when she fell ill with cancer last year — finishes in the same city the night before Robbie’s gig.

So she will be in top form when she joins him on stage to do their duet Kids and possibly some other tracks too.

In return for the opportunity to sing with the Robster she’s asked him to come and spend Christmas Day with the Minogues.

Imagine that. Being sandwiched between Kylie and DANNII (if she makes it home too). Every man’s festive fantasy. It will be a very special affair, with Kylie’s mum Carol and dad Ron welcoming extended family and friends including her boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ to a traditional feast.

My computer whizzes have imagined what Kylie and Rob might look like together on Christmas morning.

A source said: “Robbie had let it be known that he was staying on in Australia for a holiday after his tour had ended.

“And when Kylie heard about it she couldn’t bear the thought of him spending Christmas alone — or in a hotel room.

“So she has extended an invitation to come to the family home for lunch. He’ll be treated to a huge Minogue welcome from her extended family.â€

Kylie, who launched her own perfume called Darling in Sydney yesterday, takes to the stage in the city on Saturday night.

It is the first time she has done a Showgirl gig since her treatment for breast cancer.

The tour was cancelled on the eve of its Aussie leg last year after her diagnosis.

It ends in Melbourne with six shows.

Well, even if Vicky made it up, at last it's more of a positive article again while the 3am girls either make up nasty stuff or repeat the same old sermon over and over again in their articles... :puke2:

I don't think Rob & Kylie will spend Xmas together, but I'm hoping for her to do an appearance on Rob's stage :)

Aled focuses on tour with Robbie WilliamsNov 10 2006

Western Mail

He's already mastered dancing, now Aled Jones is learning the drums - so he can tour with Robbie Williams.

The Welsh singer and TV presenter is taking part in a new BBC series in which celebrities learn a skill to encourage young people to pick up instruments.

Aled, 35, who is originally from Anglesey, is mastering the drums.

He hopes his hard work will mean he can join Robbie Williams's band when the former Take That star next takes to the road.

'I have been having lessons for a while but I'm not good enough yet,' said Aled. 'I was supposed to play with Franz Ferdinand recently but I was jetlagged after coming back from Australia.'

In an interview on Radio 2 he added, 'I'm hoping to go on tour with Robbie Williams and his band next year and play drums for him but I have a long way to go yet.

'I'm still only using one stick at the moment,' he said.

In the meantime, Aled's Greatest Hits CD is released on November 27. :yahoo: :puke2:

Kylie Minogue invites Robbie Williams to family Christmas lunch

Saturday November 11th, 2006 at 4:31 pm by LucyLastic

After being kicked back by Lindsay Lohan and shunned by his former bandmates, Take That, Robbie Williams must be revealed that at least someone wants him - Kylie Minogue has invited him to spend Christmas with her and her family in Melbourne after his Australian tour finishes.

Robbie’s tour finishes in Melbourne on 18th December and he decided that rather than rushing back to the UK or his home in Los Angeles, he would stay in the city for the festive season.

A source told the Sun: “Robbie had let it be known that he was staying on in Australia for a holiday after his tour had ended. And when Kylie heard about it she couldn’t bear the thought of him spending Christmas alone - or in a hotel room.â€

“So she has extended an invitation to come to the family home for lunch. He’ll be treated to a huge Minogue welcome from her extended family.â€

And if that wasn’t enough, Kylie’s rescheduled Showgirl tour finishes in Melbourne the day before Robbie’s tour and she has promised to join him on stage for a duet of their hit single ‘Kids’ during his final show.

Jan Williams does it for the kids

http://www.purerobbie.com/photoplog/images/1843/medium/1_61_836021064_jan_H145023_L.jpg

Robbie Williams' mum is launching an appeal to collect Christmas presents for underprivileged children.Jan Williams will be helping the Salvation Army kick-start its Christmas gift tree appeal, which aims to collect 3,000 toys for children in the Potteries.

She will be handing out gold and silver gift trees with tags attached to them listing a profile for the recipient of a gift.

The appeal, which runs until Sunday, December 17, asks the public to take a gift tag from the tree and buy a suitable new toy for the profile described on the tag.

The gifts can be taken to Asda stores and Salvation Army centres.

The charity will then collect and distribute them to families throughout the Potteries.

Mrs Williams said: "I heard of a case last year where one single mum with four children was in financial difficulty and in no position to buy gifts for the kids.

"Through a referral from her health visitor, The Salvation Army gave each child a parcel and the mum received a food hamper. She was so grateful and it made their Christmas."

IS YOUR SCHOOL A CLASS ACT?

Young people throughout Staffordshire and South Cheshire are invited to take charge of improving their schools by joining a major new campaign. The Sentinel has teamed up with Barclays to launch Class Act, which will give away £15,000 to help pupils and teachers bring their dream projects to life.

Today, we begin showcasing your grand ideas and inviting nominations from any school or college across our circulation area.

The competition will culminate in an awards ceremony in January, with three £5,000 prizes given to the very best schemes.

One of the first schools to enter is Silverdale Primary, near Newcastle, which hopes to clinch cash to revamp the playground which its 215 youngsters use.

Children who sit on the school council are leading the development.

They want to divide their large yard into different zones, which could include an area for ball games, a racing zone, a quiet corner, and a wildlife haven.

They are also keen to tap into the skills of local people, who could soon be helping the children build walls and plant flowers.

Sam Cadman, a 10-year-old pupil at Silverdale Primary, said: "The idea is to stop children arguing and make people's playtimes better. We want some fun in the playground so we don't get bored."

Headteacher Angela Cheetham today welcomed the Class Act campaign.

She said: "It is a fantastic opportunity for the children to work together with the community and to share their ideas for improving their school environment."

The editor-in-chief of Staffordshire Sentinel Newspapers, Michael Sassi, added: "We know that pupils and teachers all over our area are brimming with fantastic ideas to help make their schools even better places in which to learn.

"We hope that the money we are offering will turn some of their ideas into reality."

The Sentinel wants to hear from schools/colleges with ideas for interesting projects. These could include organising a major community event, launching a magazine or radio station or maybe embarking on an initiative to promote cultural diversity.

The campaign has won the support of North Staffordshire celebrities, including Jonathan Wilkes, Sam Plank, and Robbie Williams's mum, Jan.

Jan said: "Anything community-based that's going to create and inspire is one of the best things we can do for each other. In education in particular, to put out an incentive like Class Act is really good because it gives teachers and children the opportunity to work at something and build something together."

Kathy Brown, Barclays' regional community manager, added: "Barclays is delighted to support such a worthy campaign.

"We aim to strengthen the local communities in which we live and work by supporting a broad range of causes at a very local level.

"Financial help is just one aspect of the support we provide. We have a very active employee volunteering programme, whereby Barclays staff actively take part and generate community projects funded by Barclays."

IT'S A TOP-CLASS IDEA!

Robbie's mum Jan Williams said: "To put out an incentive like this is really good, because it gives teachers and children the opportunity to work at something and build something together."Peter Traves, corporate director of Staffordshire County Council's children and lifelong learning department, said: "Our schools are bursting with good ideas and ways to improve their facilities, and introduce measures which will benefit the school community."

Potteries entertainer Jonathan Wilkes said: "This campaign is a great idea, as £5,000 for the winners would be a huge boost to the schools in the area.

It will benefit the kids a great deal, and that's the main thing. I think I'd ask for a full-size football pitch."

Sentinel columnist Mike Wolfe, who will be on the Class Act judging panel, said: "Stoke-on-Trent is in desperate need of ideas, and in my experience the best ideas are probably held by young people."

Potteries broadcasting legend Sam Plank said: "This is a sensational idea. There is nothing better than investing in children - children are our future."

Noel is at it again

So what about Robbie?

Noel told me: "I don't like Robbie Williams' records, it's not my bag at all. But the guy has carved out a career for himself after really only being a backing dancer.

"I remember seeing him once at the Brits after he'd had one of his six-month periods of mouthing off. He put his hand out to shake mine and I said: 'Not when you're wearing eye liner, Sonny Jim.' "Again, I bear Robbie no malice at all because he doesn't enter my way of thinking. "I've heard about the secret track on his latest album Rudebox attacking us but I can't be bothered with it any more. He's got his thing, he sells out stadiums around the world - good luck to him." Noel did fire a warning to Mr. Williams though. The guitarist sings lead vocals on several of the hits on Stop The Clocks. Has he considered a solo career? "Robbie is probably the biggest solo artist in the country but I'd eat him for breakfast," he said. "Why? Because I write better songs, I'm a better singer and I've got soul. End of ******* argument.

"If I decided to go solo I'd be enormous. Just be thankful I can't dance AND play guitar at the same time or you'd be looking at the first gunslinging John Travolta.

Full interview HERE

Stupid Vicki should be run over...she's the one that started all this "secret track" garbage, and it's totally NOT true!

What a t***.

That being said, his whole statement is hilarious, LOL!! Gun slingling John Travolta...

Robbie Williams concert no noisier than football matches, promoters say B)

Promoters of next month's Robbie Williams concert in Brisbane do not expect there will be much for residents to complain about during the show.

Residents living near Lang Park will be able to ring a telephone hotline if they believe the music is too loud.

Also, a State Government official will order the volume turned down if it is exceeding environmental noise levels.

Chugg Entertainment is now checking contractual arrangements with the venue after learning of the noise monitoring plans.

But spokesman Matthew Lazarus-Hall says noise levels will be similar to those experienced at Lang Park in the past.

"We don't expect Robbie Williams to be any louder than the victory cheers that resounded through Suncorp Stadium when Queensland won the State of Origin," he said.
