They just performed WLM on the voice holland and are rumoured to close the show with TAU, fans think the music video will be uploaded when they perform TAU but im just not sure?

That would be a bizarre tactic given that no one outside of Holland or their core fanbase are going to be aware of the performance. I wouldn’t put it past them though.

So relieved we know it’s only 1 week until the video. It should be on the B list on radio 1 then too.

I'm not surprised by the muted response to this single choice. There's something about it which just doesn't click with me, when it's playing I tend to zone out. Personally I would have gone for "Strip" as the follow up, with "Monster In Me" and "Love A Girl Right" as the 3rd and 4th choices. I prefer "The Cure", "Wasabi" and "Joan Of Arc" to this too, which puts it in the mid-bottom half of the album which is not a good look for the second single.

I don’t know why people keep insinuating that it’s not clicking because of the single choice. At this point its obviously not the songs fault because it’s performing well on iTunes and Apple Music so people do want to listen to it and it is clicking with them when they’re exposed to it.

 

The major problem they’re facing is the complete lack of Spotify support. People can’t be underwhelmed by a single if they haven’t heard it or been exposed to it at all. Spotify users, more than any other service, rely on the playlists to introduce them to new music and to listen to the music that’s popular. If Think About Us isn’t on the new music playlists and it’s not on any of the most popular playlists, Spotify users aren’t gonna listen.

at least that WLM performance was amazing (trying to find something positive in this mess).

They seem quite mad about it. I just wish they said it's definitely coming this week, but leaving it like that makes me think it's possible it won't be coming out this week and that would be a disaster.

The fact that they themselves don't know when it's out is a disaster. RCA are truly trash.

 

Edit: Not addressing the delay on Twitter in any capacity is a disgrace.
