November 3, 200618 yr Wow, I guess any old rubbish really can go to #1 in the US. :manson: It IS THE Justin Timberlake though :o . He IS this year's Usher or were you not aware :( I seriously hate the man even though 3rd single is rather good -_- .
November 3, 200618 yr Nope November 7th so next week. Apparently Shakira herself has been holding its release off so they can do ANOTHER album cash-in with the release of the 2 volumes as 1 volume. BAD move on Shaki's part if true. The song is almost undoubtedly going to flop. Talk about a gap between singles :manson: oh yes I have heard, and I suppose it was kind of inevitable, but I didnt think Illegal would be used so the album can have an xmas cash in, looks like nobody can stay away from xmas cash in's :puke2: the cover, of which all i say is -_- http://www.shakirawhenever.com/imageshakww/pochettes/077.jpg

It ruins her credabilty imo.
November 3, 200618 yr yeah, although ive heard that the gold will be special material B) if thats any consolation  and there will be a DVD :o and yes, I will unfortunaely be buying it -_- Edited November 3, 200618 yr by Exodus
November 3, 200618 yr yeah, although ive heard that the gold will be special material B) if thats any consolation  Well they need SOMETHING to make it a little less hideous, those images make it look so cheap, couldn't they do something new :manson:
November 3, 200618 yr well its taken the good part of half a year to come up with a cheap radio edit of a half decent song and a front cover which looks as appealing as aids, so the answer is probably no :puke:
November 3, 200618 yr Most likely they had never heard of them (as most haven't here YET). Well after a spell of goodness it all goes horribly wrong on the H100. No massive songs being released to radio anytime soon. New track from Fall Out Boy/Gwen Stefani/Nelly F (SIR) should all make dents of sorts to the top 10. Lily Allen/Sandi Thom/James Blunt head up the contigent for winter releases. T'will be interestant to see how things pan out and if ANY of them muster a hit. TBH I think Lily will flop in America - she's a bit too 'Cockney' to really appeal to them I think.
November 3, 200618 yr Sandi Thom has potential - I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker is already an underground download hit and has sold several thousand downloads on iTunes... basically from American tourists returning from summer vacations in the UK.
November 3, 200618 yr whenever I see a list of the US charts... I thank God I'm living in Britain.... bland, MOR, soulless r'n'b..... horrible. Could'nt agree more -_-
November 3, 200618 yr I agree that this is a cash-in, though I do not necessarily agree that Illegal will be a TOTAL flop. I think it will hit Top 20 (or God forbid) Top 10. But I'm just hoping it'll boost these pathetic sales . . . I'm only gonna buy it if it has more special things. They're doing this stupidly. People already have OF2 and FO1, so they should have like un-released tracks, Illegal video, Shakira interviews, you know, like a deluxe package or something. . . BTW, Shakira won 4 out of 5 Latin Grammys!!! YAY!!! **Just goes to show that she really IS the biggest female Latin singer**
