I don't get Lauv, like at all. :( I've not liked anything he's had involvement in.

Mainly here for Troye getting a 4th top 40 hot

The song is very infectious though

The song is very infectious though

It's not bad, it's just... basic and plain, and goes nowhere.

I do adore Troye though, so I won't begrudge him getting more recognition.

Yaaasss at Kehlani, Lauv/Troye, Dua & Mabel. 2019 will be the year of good pop songs doing well!

I really liked the Lauv duet with Julia Michaels, that was really good

but this is terrible, easily the worst thing Troye has associated his name with

I remember you said 'Bloom' was your least favourite song of last year (along with about a million others).

Does it beat that for you?

actually yes, thats worst than Bloom :/

sadly I don't think Troye will ever do another Youth again :/

Bloom the song or Bloom the album as both are fantastic :P

Bloom the song, it was disappointing

I get what you mean but I think it looks great compared to say, '1999'. Not heard this new one yet but sounds like it may be another watered down track that has no feeling to it when he's so much better than that.

Delighted to see Lauv coming for a big hit! :D

I don't know why but I honestly love almost everything he's put out so far, 'Enemies', 'There's No Way', 'I Like Me Better' and 'Chasing Fire' are among my favs. I just think his voice is great to listen to so I'm here for the public stanning and supporting this becoming a hit *.*

I quite liked the Lauv/Troye song on first listen in the end :) just need to forget "Blue Neighbourhood" and "Happy Little Pill" existed really with his new stuff. '1999' aside :P

was checking Apple music and was surprised at how different the chart looks compared to Spotify

2 Mabel

15 A Boogie wit da Hoodie

20 Kehlani

22 Westlife

23 Little Mix

24 Bally

I think it would've been unrealistic to expect him to top something as incredible as Blue Neighbourhood anyway, he's still producing exceptionally great tracks but that sort of album is just impossible to beat in my eyes!

It's true really, "Bloom" IS a decent album. Need to give it another spin soon really.

sadly that might be the case

but a good artist should evolve and get better not peak with their debut

He has evolved, it's clear on Bloom. However, the fact he hasn't gotten better with his second album isn't a poor reflection, it's just a testament to how good Blue Neighbourhood is. Bloom is a 10/10 album following BN's 11/10. That's all it is.

personally, I think Blue neighbourhood is a great debut, overall maybe a 8/10, but it has one of there best songs written in the last 10 years, Youth. A couple tracks are also very good but there's also a lot of filler.

I actually think he's regressed with Bloom, which is not bad but very disappointing. Maybe a 4/10. A few tracks are ok but there's a lot of mediocre tracks. More than anything it's a frustrating album cos Im sure he's capable of much more. But actually Bloom has a jewel that is Dance to This. That's an 11/10 track and one of the best songs of 2018 but his label ruined it. I thought the label was terrible at promoting the album, wrong single choices, wrong timing, pushing videos at the wrong moment, pushing there wrong songs to HH etc etc

more than anything I think Im frustrated cos he could have had one of the biggest hits of last year with Dance to this if things had been done better by the label
