Defending champion Gary Anderson was knocked out of the 2019 Champions League of Darts on the opening day after losing his first two group games.

The Scot was defeated 10-9 by James Wade in the evening session, having blown a 5-1 lead against Michael Smith earlier on Saturday in Leicester.

Michael van Gerwen's victories over Wade and Smith in the same group mean Anderson is unable to qualify.

Adrian Lewis battles back from 9-6 down to beat James Wade 10-9 in the second round of the Grand Slam of Darts.
Back to back GSoDs is no mean feat! Love or hate him, Price has blossomed into quite the competitor over the last couple of years. Surely a big one is on the horizon?
