The first 100 yards were quite good, after that the balloons were the best bit.

Mildly impressed that Kyvat still managed to have an accident even when he does nothing wrong

I'm expecting a long race today, punctuated by safety cars. To make it more interesting.

Well that was wishful thinking. Mercedes once again right up there with others playing catch up.

Daniel Ricciardo has received a three-place grid penalty for the Spanish Grand Prix following his collision with Daniil Kvyat.
oh my that was crazy but don't think it was his fault, more than anything it shows how little visibility they have

Formula 1 agreed a deal to secure the Italian Grand Prix at the historic Monza track until at least 2024.

Ferrari are introducing an upgraded engine two races early at this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, as they seek to end Mercedes' domination.

We shall see, hopefully Ferrari can somehow close the gap in race pace to Mercedes.

So apparently in 2020, the Brazilian Grand Prix will be in a new place at Rio de Janiero.

I liked Grosjean's creative racing line he was developing but otherwise it was another dull affair

The way this is going 2019 is going to be one of the worst seasons since 2002 in terms of excitement at the front.

Blame Ferrari for being absolute flops. Remember when they were apparently way out in front post testing? Yea that lasted long...

how can Grosjean be allowed in a F1 car, he's been there for 10 years and drives like if it were his day 1 :/

happy for Sanz, great race

it was such a mess near the end

shame for bottas getting pole ripped off him lap 1. there was no going back from there really. lucky for hamilton with the safety car. not that he needed it.

It is remarkable the longevity of Grosjean's career in F1, somehow. It was a mess but at least provided that small bit of entertainment.

We could have confirmation of a return of the Dutch Grand Prix after an absence of 35 years at Zandvoort. Possibly today.

That would be good, always liked that track from historical races & on video games. Plus the max verstappen factor means there needs to be one in the Netherlands currently.

Confirmed by F1 that the Dutch Grand Prix is returning for the first time since 1985. What do you make of this? I'm pleased to see it back although hoping it can provide some racing (providing I'm still watching in 2020). It will mean that they'll be no Spanish Grand Prix next season it will replace that.

Will anyone miss Barcelona? Personally replace Abu Dhabi, Sochi.
