So weird to have Zandvoort back again. A great track in its own right but it's hard not to associate it with Roger Williamson. :( (if you don't know, don't watch it)

Roger Williamson, saw the video a few years back just awful. Yes it is weird to back Zandvoort back thought it may be Assen if it ever returned to Holland. The Max factor working there.

Given the influence driver popularity has over track choice it is frankly amazing Finland has never run a GP. (including pre 1950)

Re: Roger Williamson - if you can find it and haven't seen it before you should watch Champions Forever - sometimes called One By One. It's a documentary of the 1973 season that focuses on 4 drivers in particular. (Not Williamson). Not one of them makes it to the final race. It's brilliant but not exactly fun

Regarding Finland, I know they'll be a Kymi Ring that will host MotoGP in 2020. Maybe in the future, it could host F1.

That would be well overdue

Talks about a Morocco GP as well, would be good to have a race in Africa so all the continents are represented.

Not sure how they're gonna stick to a 21-race calendar at this rate though with Vietnam & Netherlands coming in next season. I guess Germany & Mexico will be dropped next season which is a shame as Germany is one of the few tracks that consistently produces decent races & I live for that stadium section at Mexico even if the racing is average.

That would be the first time since their only Grand Prix in 1958 that they'll be an Morocco Grand Prix.

Will Max have a 2016/2018 or a 2017? About the only excitement I'll be able to muster for this is watching to see if anyone clips the barrier

Please let it rain

At least can we have a wet qualifying so there's a chance of a more jumbled grid. Still might not mean much overtaking of course but with the faster guys pushing the slower ones around the track someone (Grosjean) is bound to have a banzai move at Ste. Devote to bring out a safety car & make things interesting.

Even just a wet qualifying would do, just to make the race slightly better.

Grosjean, can we see him on the grid next year? as I think it might be his last year in F1.

Apparently Chris Evans was part of the commentary team during second practice on Sky Sports F1......

And a..... Mercedes 1-2 in second practice yesterday. 7 tenths ahead of Ferrari which looks omnibus.
Much like my wish for an exciting race, the likelihood of rain is slowly ebbing away

Well let's just hope that it rains at least before qualifying heavily to spice it up just a bit.
It's just possible that Ferrari's incompetence has injected the potential for overtaking into tomorrow's race with Leclerc starting so low down the field.
Ferrari is really a mess this year

Their strategy for Leclerc and nearly Vettel was disastrous in Q1. Another Mercedes 1-2..
