Just realised that Be Alright is top 40 too *.* Sweet But Psycho just behind it too. Calling a #13 peak for Be Alright and SBP will be #1 in March

^ Soko is a French indie-pop artist and her song 'We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow' was used in the background of a 'first kiss' video compilation that went viral in March 2014. Billboard counted the views towards the song, and it debuted at #9 on the Hot 100 with about 95% of its points being from YouTube. It dropped out of the chart entirely the next week. Naturally it got ~internet chart watchers~ mad since it was just background music (fair enough) so it might've spurred a rule change, although actually it happened a month after the 'Let Her Go' ad I mentioned so I'm not sure it was related. But I don't recall anything like it happening since.
