about time

could have done without the 3 tracks from the old EP

Two of the tracks are turning into his biggest hits so def makes sense to attract buyers!

the 2 tracks (Grace and SYL) are from a recent EP

I meant the 3 old tracks from the old EP, no need to include the 3 of them, hate when artists do that, we all got the EP, no need to re-buy those tracks

I've only just listened to Fade, which is an EP track on the album. Bloody incredible!

I reckon this album will be massive.

yay Fade is a 2017 track

It's pretty standard for debut albums to include older tracks from EPs: Pale Waves, Tom Walker, The 1975, Bad Sounds and Dean Lewis all have, among loads others.

But personally I think it's wrong

picking just the 1 great song ok

taking all of them, that's wrong, people already can buy/stream the EP if they want

it's just putting the same product out twice

I like what Daughter did for instead, they did 2/3 EPS, they had amazing tracks like Home, Landfill, but for their debut they only picked one, Youth, and that's it

But realistically, way more people are going to buy or stream Lewis' album than either of his EPs. It would be a shame if excellent songs like Lost On You weren't reflected on the album I think, they're just as much a part of Lewis' journey to this point and they deserve a place on his debut album. I'd rather have some songs we know are excellent than a few filler tracks to take their place, because I expect that's what we'd get...

would have preferred a newie myself
I thought he may have went with Bruises as it'll obviously be huge considering how well it's been doing since Xmas on Spotify and each release will continue to get bigger for him until his saturation point is reached. In saying that a big hyped brand new single could have done even better pending the song of course.

crazy how well he's done, never would have thought a ballad like this could reach #1

even when he got to #1 I though that's it, #1 week and gone but still there looking for a 7th frame at #1

I was the opposite - I detected the growing popularity of him from the recent support Grace got over Xmas, his social media profile and then as soon as I heard the current no1 single knew it'd be huge!
Haha! Yeh that's what I meant to, it sounds like a hit too and has mass appeal!

Yeah I had a feeling it would take off after it debuted towards the bottom of the top 100, I hadn't really heard much about him at that point.
