This came up on my TikTok earlier. I would go with something like this. The BBC like middle of the road and Cammy Barnes is that but has a great voice and him playing the bagpipes adds something different.

Look Mum No Computer is an excellent choice of artist if he wasn’t stuck with a Swedish writing camp reject of a song. Also going back to artists with no record label means there is no budget for the staging and ends up being quite amateurish. With Sam Ryder, Mae Muller and Olly Alexander you could tell a major label was behind it.

Sounds decent! I wonder if they might get a BGT performance.

I like Lewis and I enjoyed 'Survive' but he really needs to change up his sound slightly. He just keeps releasing inferior versions of the hits from his first album. Surely something upbeat at least and not another piano ballad.

I think he postponed it because he got the role in Kinky Boots so wouldn’t be able to do much promo etc.

Record label politics I think

The fact that everyone seems to love or hate it is a step in the right direction and what this type of song is supposed to do. Most reactions to UK Entry’s are usually “Yeah it’s alright” and then come last.

Out in New Zealand now and just had a listen. Not quite sure what I think. INo record label involved so the staging is going to be done on a budget which is a shame because this will need to be staged brilliantly for it be effective. Thomas Stengaard involved with the writing again so a song specifically written for Eurovision.

I feel they did this to try and tempt Oasis to perform but they didn’t bite and just carried on with it anyway.

At the moment I’m getting more Union J than One Direction. An album full of One Direction cast off’s (if they get that far) and dropped like a stone when their 15 minutes is up.

New album from Embrace is out on 12th June! Lead single ‘Road to Nowhere’ is out now! Really liking it on first listen. Reminds me of their song ‘Ashes’ which is probably their best song for me.

It’s definitely a grower. I’ve went from being very underwhelmed and not really liking it to thinking it’s really good after a few more listens. I do feel this will be more like ‘Lights Up’ with a ‘Watermelon Sugar’ hiding on the album waiting to be released.

I’m hoping it’s a departure in sound from the last two albums whatever that was supposed to be and is something with a bit of life to it!
