I'm surprised that there's not a thread for this already! True drama/thriller starring Connie Britton and Eric Bana as Debra and John, a couple who meet online and become romantically involved rather quickly, much to Debra's daughters' disapproval. Veronica is such a bitch but I love her!

 

I've just watched the first two episodes and I am hooked! It's giving me proper Big Little Lies vibes, with Connie/Debra even looking very similar to Laura Dern/Renata

 

Connie is excellent, she's already been nominated for the Globe for Best Actress and I'm sure the Emmy's will be calling come September

f*** Debra and her selfish as f*** ways. The only character I'm loving is Ronnie/Veronica, a fierce ass bitch.

 

It's addictive but so hard to watch at the same time in places.

Connie Britton is a bloody brilliant actress so hopefully she gets some recognition here - I have to see this!

I've finished this and I can't decide if I liked it or not, it was really entertaining or not but it got me in my feels so much and so angry :lol: I actually hated Debra more than John.

I finally finished this tonight, the last episode was so gripping!

Tara being the one to kill John was com completely unexpected, she seemed to be a really ditzy/bordering on stupid character, and you wouldn't think that she would be able to overpower a big guy like John. I'm glad that he got what was coming to him but it does make me sad that it's unlikely a second series will be made.

As I said before, Connie Britton was excellent as Debra, although she irritated me a lot by how stupid she could be

 

Does anyone think this has a chance at the Emmy's? I know Big Little Lies pretty much sweeper the board in 2017 and the vibe of this was SO similar, I think pretty much all the main cast in this deserve nominations in the acting categories

On episode 5 and have to say this is soooo good!
