March 20, 20196 yr TBH I love Australia being in ESC and have either liked or loved all of their entries so far but I don't like this one. I think it's weird and it's not even remotely comparable with La Forza even if both have opera elements. La Forza is way more accessible than this as it has a lot friendlier structure than Zero Gravity. I'm not saying I'd be surprised to see Australia qualify but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't either.

I'm still not entirely convinced Iceland will go through but the hype seems to be there so I've gone with it for now. Montenegro, Finland and Georgia are dead on arrival. Think Greece are winning the semi final quite easily. It's in my top 10 but I think Albania will miss out as well now unfortunately. North Macedonia I think could do a Czech Republic 2016 and qualify thanks to the juries and then do nothing on the Saturday night, but hey, getting through is the victory for them! Denmark remains abhorrent but such garbage always gets through (Rybak last year). Latvia and Croatia are the only two with no chance here I feel.

Gave North Macedonia the nod over Albania in the end as I think Tamara is giving a stronger performance and the song's more accesible to a non-balkan audience. And I think Austria will be a jury darling enough for them to be the "Anna Rosinelli" of 2019 as it's a calm oasis between Sweden and Croatia. Romania in 11th are well prepared to snatch one of these countries dreams but I think that's gonna struggle without a few bribed wiwibloggers.

Personally hoping Iceland, Cyprus or Slovenia will top semi 1 but won’t hold my breath... Greece seems like a sensible choice I suppose.
