Gaga went fairly quiet after early 2018 and the cancellation of the Joanne World Tour but she made a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie & TV Awards to present the award for best movie (Black Panther) and receive an award herself for Best Music Documentary for Gaga: Five Foot Two! She wore Alexander McQueen.

 

I'll have to re-watch FFT at some point. Seen it twice already and it's such an incredible and honest depiction of her life. Seeing her in such physical pain is absolutely awful though :(

I've seen it like 5 times, maybe should watch again in a few months time.

Seeing her with her nan got me both times :cry:

 

September 2018

 

At the Toronto Film Festival, Gaga continued to promote the film, this time in a beautiful black gown, complete with veil and sleek body shape. A true stunner, she again walked the carper with Bradley.

The month that saw A Star is Born released globally, both film and soundtrack. Gaga appeared on The Late Show (pictured below) and walked the red carpet at the 25th ELLE annual Women in Hollywood night (pictured above). She was honoured on the night and gave a beautiful speech about women in show business and her personal struggles with fame and mental health.

Gaga was honoured by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Award, an annual award that honours two artists who have used their platform to advance humanitarian and philanthropic causes with the Artists Inspiration Award. Gaga wore Dior and absolutely stunned on the red carpet. She gave a 23 minute speech that dealt with issues such as suicide but also doubled as a call-to-action to build programs, awareness and infrastructure for mental health support and services. Gaga paid tribute to her co-star Bradley Cooper at the 32nd annual American Cinematheque Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Her speech is so, so moving. "I ran from Stefani for a long time..."
