Indeed, I'm a big upset each time I see that radio 1 cuts off the schedule a dance show for each event they're doing. :blink:

Last week they did the Electric Proms '06 and they cut off Pete Tong's In New Music We Thrust... so that Friday evening Dave pearce do a show insitead of Pete. :cry:

Now, view that next week it's the Chart SHow live, from all the boring shows they have on the schedule, they cut off the Dance Anthems??? :huh:

I guess they're purely strange view that beyonf the Chart SHow, the dance shows are the best thing that Radio 1 has :wacko:

I don't think they mean to cut off the dance its just when that particular event that their covering is on, a dance show is on the schedule. :D

I think they're trying to sneak Dave Pearce's awful Dance Anthems show off the roster bit by bit.

My Dad has more cred then Dave Pearce... yeah I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he's looking rather shabby and unattractive in comparison to his fellow colleagues. Isn't it just those that are still clinging on to their glowsticks from 1999 that listen this guy now??

 

Radio 1 - despite it's tough times - has always defended dance music, so I am surprised they are slashing the dance shows at the first chance really.

They always cut off dance anthems because usually they have a live show after the Chart Show to keep people listening. Dance Anthems is by far my favourite dance show on Radio 1. Just a big shame Dave ruins the show with some boring house songs at the beginning

For me the boring part is when he's doing his own mix <_< If he likes to play Dance Anthems, the tracks he selects on his mixes are quite garbage :blink: As a deejay, I tend to have a style of my own, not to select all types of styles and call it Dance Anthems :mellow:

Anyway, I liked the opinion about Dave's image... It's true, he should need some plastic surgery or somenthing :P xox.
