The highest placed of the three Abba songs in the final, this was their fourth no.1,spending six weeks at the top of the chart in 1976. It was also their only US no.1.

oh Daft Punk should be higher, that's a 10/10 no question about it

Top scores : 10 - King Rollo,dandy*,zeus555,Popchartfreak,ThePensmith,dj tim e

One thing I have learned from this poll is how popular Blondie are on here. All three of their songs are in the top 40. Madonna is the only other act with more than two songs in the final 40. Atomic was the third of Blondie's six no.1 singles.

I'll never get Blondie, just ok for me

This was in the chart for 17 weeks before it finally reached no.1. After a lack of enthusiasm in the song by his record company,Pete Burns had to take out a loan of £2500 to record it and the band had to fund the video themselves. It was also a first no.1 for the Stock Aitken Waterman production trio.

The is the highest placed of the five Spice Girls songs in the final. They have all been clustered in the middle third of the top 100. I don't think I have watched so many of their videos in such a short space of time. Wannabe spent seven weeks at no.1 in 1996 and is the best selling single by a girl group both in the UK and the world.

A great first few songs to start the top 40! Especially pleased to see Atomic come so high.

Also all seven Madonna songs coming in the top 40? Wow, looks like she's got a good chance of winning at this rate.

From 2000 and written for the film 'The Beach',this was the fourth of All Saints' five no.1 singles.

Surprisingly low for 'Pure Shores', I'd have expected that to be right near the top! Nice to see 'It's A Sin' making the top 40 ~

Wow at me not even making it into the named low scorers for t.A.T.u.

And like a double decker bus, here comes another one. From 1990,this was Madonna's seventh no.1 and 22nd consecutive top 10 single.

Ooh finally, two of the seven Madonna songs head out. Not a fan of either track at all, really glad the right Madonna songs are still doing well.
shocked people can dislike Papa don't preach :/
