Posted November 7, 200619 yr Girls Aloud to suffer McFly success 07 November 2006 - 15:54:51 Source Music Week McFly's Island-issued Motion In The Ocean looks set to topple Girls Aloud's best of compilation from the lead spot, one week after it registered the first UK albums number one for the all-girl group. McFly are currently in battle with Jamiroquai, who has also released a singles package through Columbia, although sales for both acts are currently very close. Damien Rice's follow-up to O, 9 Songs (Heffa/14th floor), has also shifted enough units to knock Scissor Sisters and Razorlight from this week's upper eschelon. Meanwhile, other albums from Angelis (Syco), Paul Weller (Island/Polydor) and Katherine Jenkins (UCJ) are also poised to hit the Top 20. On the singles chart this week, there is little movement by way of new entries although U2 and Green Day are ascending the rundown from number six with charity single, The Saints Are Coming (Vertigo). ===================================================================== Singles 01 Westlife - The Rose 13k 02 U2/Green Day - The Saints Are Coming 10k 03 All Saints - Rock Steady 7k Top 5 Madonna - Jump *Climber* Top 10 Sugababes - Easy *Climber* Top 15 Paul Weller - Wild Blue Yonder *New Entry* Akon feat. November 7, 200619 yr I think Westlife will get it :( Although i also would Love All Saints, to make their comeback, a number 1  So Westlife No.1 :(
November 7, 200619 yr Sorry to say it will prob be Westlife (as it is coming up to Christmas) U2/Greenday at number 2 All saints (I have a feeling they'll only be number 4!!)
November 7, 200619 yr NE1 - U2/Greenday NE2 - Wetlife 3 Fedde Le Grande NE4 All Saints 5 Bodyrox Feat. Luciana 6 Beyonce 7 Girls Aloud NE8 Sugababes
November 7, 200619 yr Well...looking at All Saints chart record to date they've had No.1's, No.4's and No.7's so perhaps Rock Steady will be another smash hit No.4 for them...they definitely won't be top 2 unfortunately... U2 and Westlife have very loyal fanbases which will sow up those two positions...Fedde down to either No.3 or No.4 with Bodyrox at No.5...
November 7, 200619 yr Yeah I agree, I hope All Saints get to number one but I cant see it happening..It will be Twatlife.
November 7, 200619 yr It's probably going to be Wetflies at number one. I'd rather U2/Green Day or All Saints got it though.
November 7, 200619 yr Westlife. Can´t believe they will get to 14th No.1. They will get 3rd of the most no.1´s list behind elvis and beatles
November 7, 200619 yr I'm expecting U2 to do better than All Saints as their download position was higher, but Westlife will probably have another no1 unfortunately
November 7, 200619 yr 13k! not very good for Westlife is it! I hope this is a downward spiral! <_<
November 7, 200619 yr Eh. To these sales are included the westlife downloads as mcfly did. Mcfly sold 28,000 the first day in this way so westlife may seem so low...
