An album is definitely happening, they've premiered a few new track IDs at live shows recently and when asked by people on social media they've teased that the songs will feature on the album! Be Someone will surely be on there, as will Cola, Breathe and probably Panic Room too.

 

 

 

Confirmed they're now aiming for a July or September release with 14 tracks.

So who knows when this is happening :lol: but they have revealed today that they’ve been in the studio with Yannis from Foals!

Their sets get me hyped to hear what else they have to offer in the future.

 

This short fan clip posted today sounds amazing and I hope features on any future album with a noteworthy vocalist! :o

Another collab with Elderbrook called Dance With My Ghost will be on the album

oh good, I really enjoyed most of their works, another great piece I've discovered recently, titled "Live For The Music"

Oh wow fab! Both have had 2 number 1s on my chart this year; saw CamelPhat live in August and will be seeing Foals live next July :D

Album due out ‘in the summer’ according to NME. Gah, it’s been teased for so long! It was supposed to be September 2019 :lol:

 

We’ve got a lot of different BPMs on there — it’s not all dance music. There’s 90 BPM records, there’s breakbeat records, and then obviously we have our club bangers as well. But we just wanted to do something a little bit different.

There’s also one huge name, possibly two, that we can’t disclose at the moment, but we’re going to be in with them in the studio in a couple of days time. That’s next-level, that. If we get it right, it’ll get a lot of people talking, put it that way.

At this point, I feel like anything pre-Be Someone is going to be excluded from this album especially given the multiple label releases they've had. Sony are in charge of this and them properly now so I'll be surprised if Cola, Breathe etc. will be featured.

I think for streaming reasons they would be stupid not tok

it can’t be that hard for them to license their older tracks surely? would be nice to see Cola, Breathe and Panic Room all make the album just so it has some actual hits on it.

They rarely play Cola live, if at all, anymore which is a shame. I know they want to showcase what they have and play exclusives, but it's such a crowd pleaser and their biggest hit to date.
