Posted April 30, 20196 yr Has anyone heard of the short edits that Capital have done to songs that they before the end of each hour if there isn't enough time to play the full song? They either remove a section of the song (e.g. Benny Blanco's Eastside) or remove the featured artist from the song (e.g. Offset's inclusion in Tyga's Taste or the Chance the Rapper bit in DJ Khaled's No Brainer).
April 30, 20196 yr Haven’t they done this for years? Mainly to remove any form of rap They made a big deal of Stormzy being on to premiere his new single, and they haven't played it a single time since :lol:
April 30, 20196 yr Radio 1 do it too Radio 1 do seem to do it a bit less nowadays though. I don’t know how often the other stations do it.
April 30, 20196 yr Heart FM do this quite a bit as well even after the hourly news when there's sufficient time to play the whole song.
