The press release said that Martha’s show is moving to Radio 1 Dance only so she isn’t leaving completely. She’s actually being used on Sunday evening on the Ibiza weekend which will be nice to see her utilised more

I genuinely don’t see the point in this. We had a conversation on here not so long ago that there would be no point now to go back to playing the whole Top 40 because it’s so slow moving nowadays. But that’s exactly what they seem to be doing… for a chart update?! I don’t think the broadcast chart update has ever been more than the top 20 before!

Thank you to @Jay79x for posting this last week, I had a very very busy week and just didn't get round to it in the end. Was nice to see adds for Madonna, sombr and Blossoms though. Unfortunately there is nothing that interests me at all this week.

Mavis Staples I would imagine? She was featured on Hozier’s Nina Cried Power in 2018 when I think she was 80!

As far as I’m aware, I don’t think Tom Moore was ever playlisted. If you mean oldest played, then I think you would be correct

Thought this might have been top 10 with its big jump this week on Apple and Spotify - maybe it came too late in the week?

Even more ridiculous over the summer though finishing at 11!

Charli’s already on there, she was added last week as a joint spot with SS26 and it’s now just Wink Wink on there on its own

The only thing I can think of is Ariana’s album at the end of next month? But even then I’m not sure they’ll be anything that will do huge numbers
