November 28, 20195 yr Love the thought put into it and think it goes well with the slogan so I think it’s a job well done. Bravo! How much did they pay you to say that?
November 28, 20195 yr I really like it, looks nice and simple. A logo with a cool concept and a lot of history behind it. Sticks out from the previous years logos, which starts to kinda blend in. The logos from 2015, 2016 and 2019 were basically the same.
November 28, 20195 yr How much did they pay you to say that? I don’t get what’s supposedly so bad about it. If you’re comparing it to being like a Big Brother eye, Big Brother is originally a Dutch franchise so surely that works out well! It incorporates flags, it’s a visualisation of the contest OPENING UP to all these countries and I think it works wonderfully on mock-ups of merch and trams that I’ve seen. Agree with Jerick, I think it would rank highly for me if we ranked all the theme art from the past 10-15 years.

The t-shirt looks like a modern touch of the late 80's, early 90's. I don't know about the UK, but I believe this is what's considered cool in Norway these days.
December 4, 20195 yr The 3 presenters have been announced Jan Smit has been the Dutch commentator since 2011 Chantal Jansen won best presenter of 2019 recently Edsilia Rombley of Eurovision fame
December 12, 20195 yr No luck for me getting tickets today - this year they didn't give any queue numbers, so you just had a generic "Waiting in queue" page until it changed to sold out. But I've been to all of them live from Stockholm '16 to Tel Aviv, so I don't mind missing out this time :) For both Kiev and Lisbon I was able to get my tickets by logging on the website about 1am the morning after they went on sale and picking up some returns from earlier in the day, so still possible - and I think every year tickets for even the live Grand Final have gone back on sale just before the show!
January 11, 20205 yr The story of a Saturday night during National Final season. 6PM, excited for another night of national final excellence, bopping along to your favourite. 7PM, willing along your favourite during the live broadcast. http://i.imgur.com/kayxMlg.gif 8PM, either casting your vote, or instructing Twitter on who to vote for. 11PM, watching the votes come in. 12AM, the winner giving their reprise. http://i.imgur.com/THCKUwN.gif
January 13, 20205 yr Do we have a calendar this year for all the national semi finals and finals etc? Or am I being blind?
January 14, 20205 yr The 'National Threads & Entries' thread is also being used to mark the dates when songs are getting selected, but I guess we have nothing that points out dates for heats/semi-finals
January 20, 20205 yr Jon Ola Sand will be stepping down as Executive Supervisor after Rotterdam. Martin Österdahl has been announced as the replacement. He was an Executive Producer for the 2013 & 2016 contests and given how adored they are (2016 especially), this feels like a good decision.
January 30, 20205 yr Could not get tickets for ANY shows, even dress rehearsals! Another year of sitting out unless I get lucky in March.
January 30, 20205 yr I think it’s pretty certain at this stage that they’re selecting internally, and there are unconfirmed reports (based on a 45 minute version of “Unser Lied für Rotterdam” appearing in TV listings) that the entry will be presented on February 27th.
February 26, 20205 yr 27 songs will be declared/premiered in the next 12 days so hold on to your wigs euroqueens!
