annoying that Mood Swings very narrowly avoided ACR this week.

Fake Friends going ACR just 2 weeks after peaking is a shame too but it has been charting for a while.

So Saweetie only just entered top 40 this week and is 2 weeks from ACR. That's interesting. Meanwhile 'Greece' is also two weeks from going on ACR and it feels like eternity :drama:

'Mood Swings' got a remix release this week so it's probably going to increase again annoyingly.

Nerdy question but how can Popstar have moved 22-32 on the streaming chart and that not count as a decline while Holiday moved 28-30 and that was a decline? Is there a difference between how they count streams for that chart and how they count them for ACR status purposes?

I'm not exactly certain about the specifics but it'll be something to do with the fact that the decline of 'POPSTAR' was largely in its video streams rather than audio (it actually rose 2 places in the audio streaming chart).

 

Where are you finding a combined streaming chart btw? Unless I'm blind I don't see one on the OCC website? (edit: I found it by removing the 'audio-' / 'video-' from the URL lol - afaik changing 'audio' to 'video' in the URL is the only way to get to the video streaming chart as well so I guess that figures)

But yes, POPSTAR is up 43-41 on audio streams, that must be enough to counteract its 3-14 drop on video streaming (which counts for much less in the end)!

I was already prepared for Saweetie to climb another 1-2 places this week and go to ACR but she avoided it. Well, good for her.

Most anticipated new singles go ACR on their 10th week - it's more about how they hang around after that (look at Rockstar, WAP in couple of weeks, Rain on Me, all singles by Ariana Grande etc.)
