So 90s one-hit wonder Lou Bega has sampled 90s two-hit wonder Scatman John (RIP) to create "Scatman & Hatman", as apparently the most memorable thing about Lou Bega is his headwear, rather than ripping off 50s mambo riffs & boasting about his (likely fictitious) romantic conquests.

 

It's actually quite a modern-sounding song - the sort of song one could imagine being a massive hit if Pitbull or Flo Rida were responsible for it, but not for Mr Bega.

Could have been worse.

 

What I like about Lou Bega is that he has never appeared in any reality show (yet). He just doesn't want to use it as promo for new music and he had already earned enough money thanks to Mambo No 5.
