I love a good Louis Theroux documentary. I don't know why, but theres something about his presenting style that makes me want to watch anything he's involved with.

He's got a second follow up to his 2007 Westboro Baptist Church documentary, with the first follow up in 2011.

Many members, mostly children, of the family have left the Church since - so I'm really interested to see what the remaining members think.

It airs on BBC Two this Sunday at 9pm.

His style is certainly interesting, caught a few of his documentaries. Seen My Scientology Movie which was good from him.

He's a national treasure tbh.

Will be tuning in on Sunday evening. His first documentary with that scummy Phelps family was truly shocking and heinous.

Bless Megan. The news about her sisters engagement was clearly traumatic given what that will mean for her quality of life going forward.

"Shooting Joe Exotic" is on next Monday at 9pm! Quite intrigued as to how this will build upon 'Tiger King', seems like an odd choice of documentary for Louis to do.
I think he is riding on the hype and he obviously has good connections to be able to do a follow-up exclusively on Joe Exotic. I know he was out in America, I didn't know he had filmed so much of this already. From the promo stuff it sounded like he was going to start the filming in 2021! I love his stuff so will be watching this for sure.
He’s met Joe Exotic in the past for a prior documentary, albeit not focusing exclusively on him, so it could be showing us more footage from that, adding more context with things that have happened since then.

He met with Carole Baskin, there's a promo pic of that already doing the rounds.

It was a really good watch tonight! Very eye-opening towards Tiger King as well

(I'd still recommend this even if you haven't seen TK, my mum and brother hadn't heard of it before and were gripped!)

BUMP

Did anyone see the recent Forbidden America episode on Sunday? When it came to the people he interviewed some of them were quite nasty especially the bearded guy and that disgusting threat he made on a video.

Yes I did Mack. I love Louis Theroux's documentary style and he is an expert journalist. He knows exactly what he is doing.

I found the documentary really powerful and a good insight in to the alt-right, these people are making money off of their views (which I am not 100% sure all of them even agree with) through social media and the internet. Hiding abhorrent views behind "banter" and "trolling", but of the course the irony being when they are trolled themselves they cannot take it. I don't think anyone he interviewed came across well at all.

Looking forward to this Sunday's show. The topic is rap music/rap culture. It's going to be a good one i feel.
