Posted July 12, 20196 yr I think most of you already know but just in case... the new season of Stranger Things featured Material Girl almost entirely and even a part of Angel so as a result both songs got a considerable boost on Spotify . (i don't have the numbers from Angel but someone in another forum said that it increased from 2k to 5k daily streams) i'm gonna update this thread daily for some time to see how long this effect lasts , also for reference MG was doing about 100k daily streams on average before the season started. Material Girl: 06/07/2019 109.981.171 (+152.506) 07/07/2019 110.142.896 (+161.725) 08/07/2019 110.301.285 (+158.389) 09/07/2019 110.504.484 (+203.199) 10/07/2019 110.717.699 (+213.215) 11/07/2019 110.950.533 (+232.834) 12/07/2019 111.243.344 (+292.811) 13/07/2019 111.498.184 (+254.840) 14/07/2019 111.735.765 (+237.581) 15/07/2019 111.947.656 (+211.891) 16/07/2019 112.176.525 (+228.869) 17/07/2019 112.410.852 (+234.327) 18/07/2019 112.643.695 (+232.843) 19/07/2019 112.873.698 (+230.003) 20/07/2019 113.114.916 (+241.218) 21/07/2019 113.344.436 (+229.520) Edited July 21, 20196 yr by raindrops9977
July 12, 20196 yr Author Hi We have been discussing this in another thread but this is great news. 😀 yeah... i was posting it in the "sales , streams etc" thread but i think it's better to have a separate thread to have these particular updates in one place only. :)
July 12, 20196 yr This should help it trickle sell some more sales :) Wonder if this will rise on her all time list it was 14th last year. Is Vogue having a similar effect due to Pose? Edited July 12, 20196 yr by Jordan Lee
July 13, 20196 yr Author This should help it trickle sell some more sales :) Wonder if this will rise on her all time list it was 14th last year. Is Vogue having a similar effect due to Pose? Vogue got a boost but mostly thanks to playlist exposure and it increased from 69k daily streams on average to +90k and currently is getting +80k so we will see if it will keep decreasing , however i don't think it's gonna come back to its original average.
