August 5, 20195 yr 'Ocean Drive' is a perfect winner, that missing out on a top 40 placing is really criminal, thankfully it did do better in other countries of course. I like 'Everything Now' too but it's far from Arcade Fire's best for me (I think it missed out on my votes in this?), the rest of that top 10 is excellent though, particularly pleased at how well The Chemical Brothers and FISHER did! I may have ended up forgetting to listen to the songs I'd not heard before voting in this :kink: but I've actually coincidentally finally heard 'Dance To This' since then and I think retrospectively I'd probably have given that a few points, maybe enough to push it up to 6th. Good results for Vampire Weekend, Jamie xx, CHVRCHES and Henry Krinkle as well (I feel like the latter isn't as well remembered as it ought to be, the #41 peak still hurts). JUSTICE delivered with those two awful John Gibbons covers both missing the top 40 here, there's not too much outside the top 40 that I desperately wish had done better, 'Bang That' is the biggest standout but at least Disclosure did better with their other song which is also fab. Thanks for this Dan, was fun xx
