June 20, 20196 yr Mental he's doing an arena tour too. He's massive. Interested to see how well a new single performs. Got to be (relatively) big
June 20, 20196 yr Has he still no record label? Radio 1 have been building a base for him even without a label by playlisting Sometimes albeit not in the A list as having no label means they give it lower playlist support.
June 21, 20196 yr Author Really enjoying Canter! Doing very well on iTunes as well :) I reckon he'll be huge in the next few years. Edited June 21, 20196 yr by WhoOdyssey
June 27, 20196 yr This Canter song is ace! Love those rare chart hits with super strong Scottish accents. The other 2 that spring to mind are Glasvegas' 'Daddy's Home' & Twin Atlantic's 'Heart & Soul'
June 27, 20196 yr Author I think Twin Atlantic will return sometime this year, they supported Carfish a few months ago.
July 30, 20195 yr Canter's been a steady grower for me the past few weeks, definitely one of the best indie tracks we've had this year - wouldn't surprise me if he ends up having a top 40 single and #1 album soon.
July 30, 20195 yr Erratic Cinematic is pretty old, isn't it? from a couple years ago I think I guess Canter is the lead from a new album coming soon
July 30, 20195 yr Author Erratic Cinematic is pretty old, isn't it? from a couple years ago I think I guess Canter is the lead from a new album coming soon Yeah I'm trying to find out how to move the new posts to a thread for the second album. (EC came out in September 2017, but only charted fairly recently) new mod :P
July 30, 20195 yr no worries, anyway don't think there's been any announcement or anything about album 2 Canter might be a random single
July 30, 20195 yr it's a pity he has very limited spotify support, Canter was added to HH but has been like track #56 for the last 2 months... if he had half the support that this Dermot Kennedy is getting on HH he'd be top 40 by now...
August 1, 20195 yr Canter's an old song, he's been playing it live for years along with Discoland, but wasn't on his album so a studio version gives something 'new' to be played. He seems to have been at virtually every festival going this year, he's gone to a whole new level this summer. I saw him at Glastonbury, the size of the crowd was unbelievable, rows and rows of people trying to see from well outside the tent.
