September 20, 20197 yr Author A look at BBC's coverage and presenting team https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/49487303
September 28, 20197 yr Author 9.89 with a silver medal for drugs cheat Justin Gatlin. Coleman winning in 9.76, missed three drugs tests.
September 29, 20197 yr A silver medal was the best that Dina Asher-Smith could have done there. Well done. :)
September 29, 20197 yr Author Asher-Smith the heir to Fraser-Pryce? Well done Dina. First time since 1960 that Britain have won a.medal.in the women's 100m.
September 29, 20197 yr Author @1178400234457780225 Well this is probably the lowest attendance ever for a 100m final. Absolute joke to give Doha the World Athletics Championship.
October 2, 20197 yr A gold medal for Dina Asher-Smith in the 200m. She becomes the seventh British woman to win a gold medal at the World Championships since it started in 1983. Many of the fancied runners pulled out with injuries so we will never know if she would have beaten them all but you can only race against who turns up so this shouldn't detract from what she's achieved.
October 2, 20197 yr Author I'm glad someone else in interested in this ;) That was some performance from Asher-Smith to win with a National Record. She joins: Fatima Whitbread Liz McClogan Sally Gunnell Paula Radcliffe Christine Ohuruogu Jessica Ennis-Hill As a British female gold medallist at the World Athletics Championship.
October 3, 20197 yr And now there are eight as Katarina Johnson-Thompson wins the heptathlon and breaks the British record as well. It's great to see her win the gold medal after so many previous disappointments. Great Britain now fourth in the medal table.
October 3, 20197 yr Author Sheer brilliance from Katarina Johnson-Thompson to win gold. World Indoor and Outdoor Champion all in the same year. She's had far too many disappointments but I'm glad she won.
October 3, 20197 yr Author Katarina Johnson-Thompson doesn't have the killer instinct to win a medal at a Worlds and Olympics. At a Commonwealth Games possibly. But she again failed. I'm very glad I have been proved wrong with that statement I made two years ago.

October 4, 20197 yr At last, the stadium is packed out as there is someone from Qatar in the high jump.
October 4, 20197 yr Author It is packed so far. I think USA could be disqualified following that run in the relay.
