GRAVITY on the other hand, for something that should sound dated, somehow sounds just as incredible if not more so listening to it now. Along with Shady Lady, one of my favourite Ukranian entries ever.

ZOE - Loin D'ici

Speaking of gays, the little OGAE fave that could, could! After this surprise smash, she then went on to bankroll the San Marino selection in 2017 so she also, in effect, gave us "it's me Jenny B, what you get is what you see!" - make this woman a dame!

Amir - J'ai Cherché

Oh yeah...and that OTHER French song from 2016 also makes it through. Amir kicked off the mini semi-revival that France are still in the midst of by achieving the best French result since 2002. Also our first Male soloist to qualify from Semi 2!

FINALLY something that I *really* care about is through  The last qualifiers better all hit the mark because this hasn't gone as smoothly as last week where my top 4 all progressed

Quédate Conmigo > Sound Of Silence

I can take the hate!

This I can get on board with. Sound Of Silence is so well performed/sung, but the song itself isn't overly exciting.

Netta - Toy

Not a big surprise here! We knew the first time we saw her mash up Tik Tok and Gangnam Style that Netta was a firecracker just ready to explode on the Eurovision stage and boy did she deliver in a victory that will surely be one of the winners that stands the test of time.

Is Molly about to become the most robbed UK entry of all time once again

Surely Blanche and Eric Saade are both in

Sweden 2011

Eric Saade - Popular

HE WAS POPULAR! But not quite enough to get the victory in 2011, allegations of vote buying and "please stay with us" jury directives notwithstanding (lets go with "moral victor" or 2011) but we've still seen fit to send Eric through to the final 40.

So, one spot left...who's our lucky number 10?

Blanche - City Lights

And our final spot goes to the complete polar opposite of Netta in 2018, the quiet, unassuming vulnerability that many feared would crumble under pressure of the 2017 contest but BOOM fourth place! I never doubted you for a second Blance! (apart from the thirty seconds between the ninth and tenth qualifiers in that semi were announced).

25 6 Italy 2012 - L'amore e femmina (Out Of Love)

On the whole a very solid set of qualifiers, sad for Molly and Chanee and N'evergreen but I didn't lose any of my big hitters from this semi.

Phew, that's half of my top 10 through in total by the end. And I never realistically expected Donny to survive.

Wait.....Running Scared came higher than Molly?!?!?

AND I OOP. I swapped Donny to 5pts and Mans to 4pts at the last minute cos I thought Donny needed the help more.

05.Lithuania 2016: Donny Montell - I've Been Waiting For This Night

04. Sweden 2015: Mans Zelmerlow - Heroes

01.Greece 2014: Freaky Fortune feat. Riskykidd - Rise Up

were my misses~

So I just lost my entire top six.

At least the rest went pretty well.
