Riton having another hit! wow

Rinse & Repeat was a bop. And a grammy nominated bop

MNEK single was nice too, but I guess MNEK is chart cursed. First Jax Jones song, then Deeper... such a shame.

boring week for new releases

on NMF

1 Dermont Kennedy album track

2 new Camila - Cry for you

3 AJ Tracey

4 Nial H

5 Maisie Peters

6 Tom Walker

7 Dan+S ft Bieber

the new AJ Tracey has been added to HH, where Outnumbered is track #1 (ka-ching)

noticed a few songs on HH for the first time but not sure if they were already there:

Billie Eilish - Good girls, Block-Europe & Dave, Shaed & Zayn - Trampoline

French Montana is also on HH, was added a few days ago I think

The update for 3rd October is finally in, and Ride It climbs to #2, with Outnumbered (#18), Professor X (#19), Motivation (#29), Liar (#45), Writing on the Wall (#55), hot girl bummer (#60), This Is Real (#108) and Love Me Again (#129) also reaching new peaks. AJ Tracey's new track Cat Pack comes in at #112.

for once the top 2 is identical in streaming and downloads

1 Dance Monkey

2 Ride it

in Spotify, Apple and iTunes

on Apple, new Travis Scott is new at #3, so expect a very high debut on Spotify today too

Riton/Oliver Mendes up to #16 on Apple

Tiesto & Mabel #17 on Apple

the album doing better on Apple is by Summer Walker, with lots of songs in, one with Usher at #30, guess some urban

Oh please Travis save us from Tones having an extended run at #1 thank you. (Not expecting it tho)

Well I didn't see that coming!

Highest In The Room enters at number one on 525k, just 5.5k ahead of Dance Monkey. The album release helps Outnumbered climb to #13, while Summer Walker & Bryson Tiller enter at #29.

Yeah, no chance Travis gets #1 if he's only barely ahead of Tones on Spotify today and still behind on Apple Music (and way behind on iTunes for what it's worth). Should be a shoo-in for top 3 though (#2 if it holds up decently well), not bad not bad. Reminding me a little of J. Cole's 'MIDDLE CHILD', coming for his highest chart position after dropping a standalone single (as opposed to his previous biggest success being from an album bomb, albeit of course Travis actually did manage to have a sustained hit before unlike Cole).

The Summer Walker track is a remix of the original solo version which was already in the top 100 (although not charting on Spotify atm) so guessing it's a good amount higher than #29 combined and should be her first top 40 hit this week - Bryson Tiller confirmed to be a bigger hitmaker than Drake, you saw it here folks :P 'Playing Games' is at least marginally less mindnumbingly dull than 'Girls Need Love' I guess, if only for the Destiny's Child interpolation, but still zzz.

I wasn't expecting Dan + Shay to make much impact in the UK but kind of surprised they haven't even debuted top 50 considering it's done quite well on iTunes. They're in at #2 behind Travis (with just over half his streams) in the US.

edit: actually 'Playing Games' is probably combined already, it's registering as a climb rather than a new entry in the US. Still has a good chance of being top 40 anyway.

Other new entries top 200:

#51 Juice WRLD/YoungBoy Never Broke Again - the first UK chart outing for the worst named rapper :cheer: (not that Juice WRLD is a good name either x)

#52 Dan + Shay/Justin Bieber - it almost made it x

#62 Summer Walker/Usher

#70 NSG

#74 Camila Cabello

#93 Dermot Kennedy [All My Friends]

#95 Summer Walker/A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

#96 Niall Horan

#136 Wiley/Future/Nafe Smallz/Chip

+ a ton more Summer Walker album tracks in the 101-200 range, a very impressive album bomb for an artist with no top 40 hits to her name yet, especially of her genre, doing far far far better than a more established R&B name like say Chris Brown (who thankfully hasn't gone top 200 with any of his new songs)

+ a couple more Dermot Kennedy tracks ('Power Over Me' #142, 'Lost' #193), both re-entries I think

Good to see Niall Horan in the top 100. I wasn't expecting higher than #96 to be honest. Hopefully it will be enough to see him in the top 40 next Friday.

since when was Summer Walker this relevant all of a sudden then?? where’s her hype coming from?
Wow at Dance Monkey with 500k+ streams. It's gone be number 1 until Adele... If...
never listened to any Summer Walker song, only know about that song that got a remix featuring Drake but actually never heard it :) thats why I thought she was urban
