Mayhaps an unpopular opinion but I personally think that joint winner spot on AS4 was wasted on Monét and Naomi had more than done enough to deserve it. She was SO overlooked on that season and it was just criminal. She brought amazing runway after amazing runway and slayed a lot of challenges too (that snatch game was amazing). A lot of people hate her for eliminating Manila and I was pissed too but lbr she did what she had to do to the biggest damn competition of the show. On S8 she was good but she would have made an underwhelming winner even if she was easily my favorite in that finale. Also side note Naomi is freakin HOT out of drag ugh.

I'm VERY pleasantly surprised to see Shuga this high but it's very well deserved because we ALL know if Nina West hadn't been on this season Shuga would have had that Miss Congeniality LOCKED. She was such a nice and positive queen even when things were not even remotely going her way. She had some GREAT runways and some others that were .. uhh .. not so great. Also even though her track record wasn't great and it was definitely her time to go at the F7 she did not deserve to be in the bottom two at all. Not even close. Ru bending the rules when it fits him :wub:

Lovely to see Tammie and Naomi so high. Tammie is fab but just not a queen cut out to do well on the drag race format. Naomi on the other hand did great on both seasons she was on yet seems to be ignored and she should have won a few challenges on AS4 imo

I love Shuga but that is definite recency bias! Completely agree she shouldn't have even been close to bottom that week though. Robbed.

Naomi I got a new found love for on AS, she was so sharp and funny in a way I didn't see before.

 

Violet going this early is a surprise, I too was shocked at the time as I thought Ginger deserved but even though she's not my cup of tea I do appreciate her more with time.

 

Tammie is just bonkers but fun.

Happy to see Tammie and Shuga make it so high, two of my faves from the earliest and latest seasons

Personal Commentary:

The one and only Villaintina manages to scratch her way into the Top 35 and I'm HERE for it. Upon my initial viewing of S9 I was rooting for her until that lipsync which was one of the most shocking eliminations in recent RPDR herstory but THEN she came back in AS4 and she was television gold even if for some reason suddenly she wasn't that good at the competition lmao. Thankfully we did get a rudemption Ariana lipsync that she slayed and she was so hilarious even if she was a bit evil but it was still kind of refreshing lol. AS4 would have been dead ass boring without Gia & Valentina.

Initially I hated Alexis. I don't know why but it wasn't until I started seeing the hilarity in her that I started liking her. She was a nice and positive presence and I usually live for the spanish queens that have trouble with a bit of a language barrier because they often make the most unintentionally hilarious TV. Alexis had some iconic catch phrases and I think she definitely deserves a second chance at this game.

And another winner drops leaving us with 10 winners in the Top 32. Sasha is quite an interesting one because while she excelled at the challenges and runways she honestly wasn't all that interesting to watch outside of all that. Now I know this isn't Rupaul's Personality Race but for a winner she sure gave us little. I was struggling to find a quote to use that wasn't from a challenge lol. However she did give us many iconic moments such as the reveal during the finale (which, lets face it, is the reason Shea didn't win) and she has a really unique style to her drag persona.

Alexis is the biggest surprise of the top 50 for me but I'm glad she's here, such a fun queen

Oh boy did not expect to be Miz Cracker's lowest scorer and honestly after rewatching season 10 since giving this score I wish I had given her a higher score. I think season 10 was just a bit oversaturated for me and I felt Cracker didn't bring anything fresh but I take that back as she is quite funny. I feel 32nd is maybe a tad too high but still she's a good queen but her Aquaria rivalry was forced and annoying to watch and I do wish she had kept her name as Brianna Cracker (Brie-on-a-cracker) which I think is a lot funnier than Miz Cracker.

I did not care for her during season 2 but when she came back for all stars she was here to prove that she deserved that spot and when she unjustly got eliminated because SOME people couldn't play the game and eliminate people that deserved to go the fandom cried in unison. But honestly that mugshot is everything.
