Posted October 16, 20195 yr Did Jess Glynne's early solo success impress Clean Bandit for them to do another collaboration for Real Love having already done Rather Be together or was the song already recorded by then? Would they have gone for someone else to sing Real Love if Jess's solo career had not taken off?
October 16, 20195 yr ‘Real Love’ was released before Jess Glynne’s solo career properly kicked off. She featured on Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’ and ‘ Route 94’s ‘My Love’ which both went to Number 1 and had a Top 5 solo single with ‘Right Here’ before ‘Real Love’ came out and that was all in 2014. Her solo career really kicked off when she put out ‘Hold My Hand in 2015. I guess ‘Real Love’ was capitalising on the massive success of ‘Rather Be’ from earlier in 2014 after ‘Extraordinary’ sort of came and went very quickly. Edited October 16, 20195 yr by gavindeejay
