September 7, 20204 yr He's basically had enough and knows this is his last chance to go home before having to wait through jury :') Even the superfan is bored of this season...!I mean I know it’s kinda too late and he’s changed his mind, but I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s always had a bit of a disconnect from the other players, having been on a more recent season (Nicole A. and David being the only ones that succeed him), and Bayleigh, the only other person from his season and thus his most viable connection, hates his guts. It wouldn’t have surprised me if he snapped and then production talked him out of it.
September 7, 20204 yr Tyler is acting to Bayleigh as if he has no idea what’s going on now. It’s like he’s getting satisfaction out of getting her hopes up and f***ing with her head I’ve never seen him as a bad person but this isn’t game it’s just nasty
September 7, 20204 yr Oh oops, noms stayed the same. We should know nothing interesting never actually pulls through no matter how much it’s talked about. Dani also got mega paranoid and blew up an alliance only just created between Christmas/Nicole/Dani/Day to Cody...
September 7, 20204 yr Author Tyler already said he kinda wanted to go home pre-jury, so I thought that he genuinely was just done with it all and to be honest I kinda respected that, I thought hey a superfan is done that's how drainingly awful this season is. It's so far removed from the game any of us fell in love with and I know I certainly couldn't live in that house! Because feeds were cut its just fishy, seems like it's not easy to self-evict especially later on in the game as it messes with things, and that's in the contract (Kat from last season confirmed it) so I feel like if he DID really want to go, it just isn't that easy. Of course it's not a prison but I feel like they will have made him aware of what he signed. However it is really really low that he weaponized BLM, in whichever scenario he either pretended to care and then went "oh well never mind" or he didn't intend to go anyway. What I think happened is, Grodner got in his ear and told him he couldn't volunteer not just to go on the block (which ofc Christmas did just last week) but also volunteer to go home, so he did a u-turn and told Christmas not to bother, but didn't then fill BayDay in so it just seemed performative for some kind of white saviour edit.
September 8, 20204 yr Its crazy that she’s literally one of the most bearable HGs as of just now. I was appreciating her actively trying to save Day this week
September 10, 20204 yr Author I thought last year was bad but I honestly think this is worse, not content with this week's microaggressions, we now have Dani, Nicole, Cody and Memphis laughing at Ian for having autism, calling him weird and all sorts, how did they cast such a vile bunch of people AGAIN?! Just when you think you've seen the worst of it, something else crops up and I don't know how much lower this season can go!
September 10, 20204 yr This week has been really unenjoyable. Not sure I can continue watching unless something positive happens. Reaally hoping Da'vonne/Bayleigh or Kevin win the next HoH. Maybe even David too could make it interesting.
September 10, 20204 yr they should honestly just cancel this show, there hasn't been a good season in years
September 10, 20204 yr Author Omg Nicole is losing brand sponsors (she's a social media influencer) due to this all! And good, I think it is just absolutely disgusting to say the least how she's behaving. Of course it's all of them but the way she's been going round like Ian is a ride or die all season but the second the "popular" crowd start tearing into him, she'll gleefully join in. She's like a mean popular girl at school who'd have a friend from outside her "tier" of popularity just as a joke or accessory, it's really upsetting to see and I feel so bad for poor Ian. She's there to his face like he's a ride or die because they're both winners and then cackling behind his back when the popular crowd are laughing at him and calling him creepy, saying he's using autism as a stratey. Her, Dani, Christams, Cody and Memphis are all despicable, awful awful people. I touched on this in a previous post but the really sad thing is how the mob mentality has made the game so nasty. This season is just so hopeless, they're systematically tearing apart everyone outside the alliance in such nasty ways, from the microaggressions against Da'vonne and Bay to the ableism against Ian. What on earth does that have to do with game? Why is it so hard just to go "I've nominated Bayleigh and Da'vonne, they're not in my alliance and I think they may target me", something like that? It's like with Ian, they can't just say "he won before, he's got a great social game, he could be a threat"? Instead they have to go the full hog and call him weird, belittle him and take the piss out of his stims by comparing him to something out of a horror film.
September 10, 20204 yr they should honestly just cancel this show, there hasn't been a good season in years I'm a huge Big Brother fan, been watching since Episode 1 - re-watched several seasons, have watched UK and AU. But I agree. I'm kinda hoping the US Season of Love Island is good this year and completely kills BBUS like it did in the UK. The format is stale, the casting has been wrong for seasons.. if you can get a good cast and a good HOH Run - it can turn out to be a good season, but you're right... hasn't happened in a while. Watching this show is a chore, but actually tracking down the truth on what's been going on with Feed Updates is even more of a chore. It would be appropriate to end the show on another All-Stars season, CBS needs to focus on something else for 2021.
September 10, 20204 yr Author Also agreed Cody, like Aaron I've watched UK/US/AU/CAN so many times, loved the show for years, and especially the US format can be so good in and of itself, just it being a social and strategic game, with the right people that alone can be golden. But the show that's airing today is so far removed from the game that was so good in the past! Casting is crucial to any reality TV show but this is two seasons in a row they've completely misfired, as well as BB19 of course. And with All Stars I feel it could have been avoided, you can tell they're on a few bottom of the barrel choices after they couldn't get who they wanted and they had positive Covid tests to contend with as well. On paper it wasn't too bad but yet again we've ended with a bunch of awful people steamrolling. Yet again we're seeing the same racial biases and microaggressions, the same exclusion of the same types of people. I'm left feeling like I'd really rather they didn't bother at all, it's so so disappointing when you think of how long we've waited for another All Stars. It's become way too much about comps, to the point where the first HOH comp matters as much as the last because it seems to be that whoever wins first HOH gets to shape the season, and they're casting the same athletic males who will boss every comp and steamroll. I find the comps boring to be honest and the weakest part of it all, live HOHs can be good as it's always tense and you've got that bit of hope to watch your fave win, but every week that gets crushed when yet another athletic white person wins and will target anyone outside of their bubble. But there is absolutely no fun in seeing the same few people win the same few comps we've seen for nigh on 20 years, taking out the same few obvious targets in the most predictable path. Watching this show is a chore, but actually tracking down the truth on what's been going on with Feed Updates is even more of a chore. Omg legit, I stopped watching this week but I can't help but see the series through by watching through social media, it's morbid curiosity and Stockholm Syndrome at this point, I'm almost fascinated at how much worse it can get.
September 10, 20204 yr Big Broyhet is at its best when there is a power change throughout the sesson like in BBCAN 2/3. I literally cant with this season, the streamrollers are not worth rooting for when they make the game personal by using racial microagressions to players or make fun of someones disability. Its just left a sour taste in my mouth.
September 12, 20204 yr Author Omg DAVID of all people has made the best and probably only interesting move in the season, actually used his power at the right time and Dani (HOH) who had planned to target him couldn't nominate him so she went for Tyler and Kevin. As much as I dislike Dani, I think targeting Tyler could be a good move as it's making a bigger move for the good of her alliance which I think could win her back some goodwill for being the one to start taking shots of those more aligned with the group, because they're gonna have to do that eventually. But on the other hand, he was just asking to go home so equally she might have just taken the easy way out
September 13, 20204 yr As much as this season has gone downhill I can't give up on the show in general just yet. When the show is good it is must-watch TV for me. The casting for this season has been a massive misfire though. I wonder if people now wish Frankie Grande was part of the line-up. :P
September 13, 20204 yr Day won veto!!!!!! Dani said she was safe anyway this week but omg at her actually winning a comp! The white alliance have all hit panic stations though just because it’s the one week things aren’t going their way. That’s when you separate the good BB players from the bad. Nicole brought out her 548th victim card by saying DAY had more people in the house than her. Thankfully Dani reminded her she had the massive alliance had Day only had Kevin and David. The absolute cheek though!!! I mean Kevin/David/Day are still gonners the next couple of weeks but it’s nice to have a tiny rumble in their plans. The fact that they wanted to evict Kevin over Tyler says it all about this season and the last few seasons in general. Targets aren’t targets anymore. It’s just a mob mentality game with the mob then fighting it out till the end. Like there’s no forward thinking about where you are in the totem pole of your alliance. They’d rather gun for 5th place and have their alliance be Final Five than win without their alliance there. The fact that Day/Bay were apparent big targets when they’d only won one (?) competitions between themselves across all their seasons and both had only just made it to jury whereas loads of others had been Final 3/2 and actual WINNERS.
September 14, 20204 yr Author See that's what I can't stand, I get it's a social game and you have to keep people happy and be in with people, but there's way too much of people playing the game FOR others. When did wanting to win and being ruthless become such a crime? That's why Christmas is one of my least faves of all time, both times now, particularly BB19, she just does nothing of note, always does the bare minimum basic moves that won't rock any boat in the game or that her alliance tells her to. It's just so so dull to see, play YOUR game, get YOUR win! Why even sign up to play the game if you're happy losing? I've grown to love Da'vonne this season because you can see she is there for the love of the game and that's what I want to see.
September 14, 20204 yr They’re literally so scared Day would even do a thing such as use the Veto. I literally don’t think they know what game they’re playing. They’re shocked she would use the veto because it would mean one of their alliance goes up. THAT’S THE GAME. Day ain’t in your alliance so she’s not playing for your alliance. The panic stations going off is so revealing. All it has taken is one of them not to win veto. The targets for the rest of the season is just the same as the first three evictees from BB21. How hard is it for them to see it’s literally a white alliance v POC. So so tiring. How can Kevin be such a huge threat over so many of the others in there. I know we’re just ranting in here but it’s so frustrating!!! This is All Stars!
September 14, 20204 yr Author Honestly!! The fact this should be the best of the best and the guy who got evicted Day 1 is thus far the only person to really make an interesting or good move  If anything it just shows that Cody and Memphis were carried by Derrick and Dan, shows it even more than we already knew. Even Dani, Nicole, Ian and Tyler who have all played great games before, they've done nothing. There's barely even any social game, because there's that pre-existing alliance, they know they have the numbers and don't need to really do anything, bar maybe get like David or Da'vonne on side for an extra vote when they need it. I'd hoped Ian would kick into gear by now, but the alliance kind of just keep him on standby as a number but not a member of the alliance, it'll be his fault when he comes 8th as a result Right now we've had Ian, Cody and Tyler all threatening to quit if they get evicted (as in not go to jury), it's pathetic that the SECOND somebody else has a bit of power and it might not go entirely the white alliance's way, the toys get thrown out of the pram. Tyler was fine with the hacker in BB20 when it benefited him. Idk why Ian is so pressed, he's not even really in the alliance, half of them want him out and they're laughing at his autism but ok. Just because they're happy giving up their game for others doesn't mean Day is going to! The best players triumph through adversity, even when their backs are against the wall, and that's why Dan's funeral in BB14 is so iconic.
