Does anyone feel the problem could be (partially) resolved by not revealing the vote numbers?

Like Janelle could have possibly survived due to the stray votes if Day/Bay/Kevin voted who they truly wanted. The whole unanimous thing just means fighting for your chance to stay becomes impossible because everyone goes ‘if you get the votes, i’ll vote’ rather than you have my vote, period. It seems like everytime someone gets the votes, then someone pulls out and the whole thing comes crashing down and it comes down the target at the start of the week. It would be loads more fun and tense if people actually voted the way that they wanted without their votes being inadvertently revealed to the house...

Very good point actually, imagine this week if Enzo and Dani did a hinky vote to try and frame Bayleigh/Da'vonne but they didn't know and actually just added two votes to Janelle staying  I think when the game is so one-sided and a steamroll of one alliance, they're looking for those stray votes and when they see the two votes that aren't theirs, they're gonna think it was Bayleigh or Da'vonne, and equally in the case of the otusiders, they'll be less likely to vote the way they want because it puts a target on their back. I think it could encourage slightly sneakier games too, which is always good. I know it's always been a numbers game, but it's become TOO much of a numbers game, instead of being about the social dynamics as much.

on that note I think BB20 pre-jury is one of the best modern examples of hinky votes actually making a difference since not only did we had two rival factions in place (lvl 6 vs. pre-debut Hive) but we also had a significant middle ground that could act as swing votes, and sometimes people from one side could be swayed to vote with another. Like throughout Week 1 it seemed like Sam was gonna go but Kaitlyn flipped her vote to Steve. Week 2 was also very close but Scottie flipped his vote to Swaggy getting evicted. And then Week 3 when one of the third party people got HOH it was still between some swing votes. "Who flipped?" was a meme for a REASON. Even Kaitlyn's eviction (the most decisive one of that period) didn't seem to be locked at first; Tyler just got tired of Kaitlyn's antics.

I think this only worked bc there were smaller solid factions (Lvl 6 were a sextet turned quartet and Foutte/Hive were a quintet) as opposed to one alliance made up of over half the house. Like not revealing the vote count could solve one problem but people can do the math anyway and deduce. HG's just decide to form once giant alliance that suffocates everyone else's gameplay.

This week sucked. I love Kaysar but Janelle deserved far better. They both did. I will continue watching if only for the implosion of the main alliance. I want Nicole evicted in the most undignified way. #petty
I'm praying Kaysar can pull out an HOH win this week (refusing to read spoilers lol). At the end of the eviction episode it looked like he got all his balls in the holes before anyone else so fingers crossed he's channelled his vengeance and energy into this competition. A dream scenario would be him putting Cody and Nicole up. I want Nicole out before jury!

Omg this week may NOT be a write-off, Kevin has the veto as well as being nominated so they've got a backdoor opportunity, and Tyler is beginning to convince Enzo that it needs to be Dani! She's been going round all week trying to make a target of Bayleigh and Da'vonne and it seems like she's blown up her own game now most of them want her out!

There was also a person who shouted over the wall with a megaphone or sth an said "Cody and Nicole have played everyone", so it seems like Christmas/Enzo/Tyler are iffy with that alliance and are gonna try and get Bayleigh/Da'vonne etc. on board, hopefully this could be the shake-up we need!

I highly doubt it sadly :(

Seems like Christmas is going up as a pawn and Enzo is ensuring everyone votes Kaysar out

They seem willing to get Dani out next week if it’s a double? You could literally make the move right now Enzo whilst you have the votes! Once Kaysar is gone there’s very little chance of getting someone like Dani out for a long time

Christmas already doesn't want to go up as a pawn and has said so, her and Tyler are planning the whole thing and just need Enzo on board, he already wants to get rid of Dani just not quite yet, but he seems to be warming to the idea. Even if it doesn't happen, the possibility is more exciting of a potential move than anything has been all season

I feel these things always happen. As I said earlier, they always seem to have the numbers and once person flakes out which takes down the whole thing and we get another week of everyone going as expected! It seems they have Day/Bay/Christmas/Kevin as votes and I’m sure Kevin would join in too. That’s enough for a tie I think? Even then, they just need to work on David (even though his lack of knowledge of the game means you can’t trust him as far as you can throw him....)

Kaysar leaving is so dumb but what we’ve come to expect. He has no allies in the house, he’s yet to win a competition. He’s never reached jury. And yet he can still be used as a target to shield behind if he stays. He’s like the dream person you WANT in the house.

It would be ANOTHER woman leaving pre-jury, and the last old school female if Dani does go. But it’ll definitely be worth it to have some sort of shake up in the house and not have the most obvious eviction possible for once

I just don’t see it happening with Enzo has HOH though I think he’ll go with what Cody says more than Tyler or BayDay. Hope I’m wrong!

Nicole & Dani’s targets are the remaining girls anyway so it should hopefully give Day/Bay a stronger chance in the game and have a least a couple more weeks. I’d much rather it be Nicole but I’ll take what I can to have some glimmer of hope as it does feel like something that would shake up the house.

Even if it's too late for this week, it gives me some hope for the next couple of weeks when I had less than none! Its sown seeds within the ruling seeds to the point I can see them splitting and going in different directions!

Rip, Enzo chickened out and Christmas went up as a pawn to make sure Kaysar goes, as originally planned

Nicole such an amazing player

'obviously i'm working with ian and don't want him on the block so i'm gonna set here quietly and agree and just hope it doesn't happen x'

Quite exciting that this season COULD become interesting in a few hours, purely depending on who wins HOH.

There’s really only a couple of people that would make predictable, boring HoHs this week (watch one of them win now and keep the season on the same path)

I think/hope Ian is going to have a fire lit, he did say he was going to lay low early on and then play! This is definitely earlier than he wanted and probably earlier than he needs, but he is one of those who can easily pull off a comp win when he wants or needs it. All we need is ONE week to come good and level out the playing field, but honestly the "other" side lowkey has the numbers anyway if Ian and BayDay can just rally everyone together! It could (and probably will) just as easily end up going down the same road as every week though

It's insane to think this is a WINNER back to play, as much as she was dull af on Season 18, she did deserve the win and played well, plus think back to BB16 when she was the only light in the season for a bit... How times change

Next week could be REALLY interesting,

Tyler seems to be splintering away from the big group and Enzo's caught between him and Cody (leaning more towards Tyler apparently). Tyler's a likely target if Cody wins HOH, while Tyler seems set on taking Dani out still.

Anything but a Cody HOH pls x

you just know Cody/Dani/Nicole will win

or David and he just loose cannons it and puts up Day/Bay thinking he’s saving them

Seems like Bayleigh completely exposed Ian’s plans to Cody at some point, so it looks like the possibility of an exciting week next week just slimmed quite a lot.

I love her but my god Bayleigh is so bad at this game, you had a good thing about to start!!

That HOH was so tense. This should be an interesting week.
