Hope this gets Xmas #1 but I wouldn't mind if Taylor, LewCap or Stormzy ended up getting it

someone start a campaign for getting River to Xmas #1

Do you think Taylor has a chance?

Biography

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (born 16 February 1990), better known by his stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer. The Weeknd has helped to broaden the musical palette of R&B by incorporating indie and electronic music influences; his work has been categorized as alternative R&B. The Weeknd anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd" in 2010 and released the critically acclaimed mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence in 2011.

The Weeknd's mixtapes were later remastered and rereleased on the compilation album Trilogy (2012), after he signed with Republic Records and created his own record label XO. The Weeknd has had three No. 1 releases (Beauty Behind the Madness in 2015, Starboy in 2016, and My Dear Melancholy in 2018) and a No. 2 release (Kiss Land in 2013) on the US Billboard 200. He has earned eight top-ten entries on the Billboard Hot 100: "Love Me Harder" with Ariana Grande; "Earned It"; "I Feel It Coming"; "Pray for Me" with Kendrick Lamar; "Call Out My Name"; and the number one singles "The Hills", "Can't Feel My Face", and "Starboy". In 2015, The Weeknd became the first artist to simultaneously hold the top three positions on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart with "Can't Feel My Face", "Earned It", and "The Hills".

The Weeknd has won three Grammy Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, nine Juno Awards, and has been nominated for one Academy Award. He has sold over 70 million records in the United States, making him one of the world's best-selling artists. - Wikipedia

I always thought she didn't do well on streams usually?

This is great, shame it missed out on the top ten though!

I hope March stalls at #11 this week and the Weeknd’s other song goes top 10

Edited December 6, 20196 yr by Hadji

Taylor only does well with her comeback singles cos she has this weird Spotify deal where they promote her like crazy (insta#1 on HH) but just for 1 week and the first single, then nothing

First time I've heard this Weeknd song and it sounds quite good.

this is not half bad from the Weeknd, at least is more upbeat and energetic than his latest samey singles

Biography

Scottish singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi began creating a buzz in early 2017 with the release of his debut single, "Bruises," a brooding exploration of a failed relationship that introduced his intimate piano and vocal sound. On the strength of his lone single, the Bathgate native sold out legendary Glasgow club King Tut's and notched millions of streams before dropping his follow-up single, the equally stark "Lost on You," later that summer. After signing with Virgin Records, Capaldi included both songs on his debut EP, Bloom, and capped off his banner year with a Scottish Music Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The front half of 2018 was spent touring in North America and Europe in advance of his next single, "Rush," featuring Jessie Reyez. "Tough" followed a few months later. - iTunes
