Gareth Emery is one of the top trance producers of the moment, and had a great start to the year with 'Saving Light' which has over 2 million streams on Spotify and YouTube. Now he's back with 'Stronger', a collab with Louis Vivet (who are actually a duo), which sees him branch out into the future bass genre. Sounding great!

Gareth Emery's potential has reached the peak when he was releasing new material under the alias 'OceanLab' with Above & Beyond IMO. He also laid out to the max in 2012 featuring the girl with astonishing voice - Christina Novelli:

Excited to hear his brand new TRANCE stuff.

Gareth Emery isn't part of OceanLab. OceanLab are Above & Beyond and Justine Suissa.

Confusingly though the On A Good Day/Metropolis mashup is credited to "Above & Beyond & Gareth Emery pres. OceanLab" but I think that's the only OceanLab/Emery collab.

oh damn, I should've known...

anyway, thank you for explaining, I've read about it a couple of years ago and forgot everything.

Still, Metropolis seems to be the fundamental track in Emery's career.

Oh, 'Saving Light' with Standerwick sounds pretty much trancey, don't know why I passed it by in February.

He's back with a new single finally, it's been ages. 'Call To Arms' is his first original song released since 'Saving Light'.

The 'Stronger' rework posted in the OP tired on me very fast, glad he's back to trance now.

not sure on this new one, the drop is GREAT but those vocals are really off-putting...

Back again with 'Take Everything' with Emma Hewitt. It's beautiful.

They also performed Avicii's 'Without You' together!

Looks like we're getting a whole collaborative album from Gareth Emery & Ashley Wallbridge, coming out 29/03. Anyway here's the music video for 'Kingdom United' (title track of the album).

Also, HALIENE of 'Saving Light' has done a new acoustic version of the song, worth checking out.

!

I'm sure he'll be very good, I hope to catch his set at Creamfields this year. One of my fave producers of the moment.

I don't think it's what you're going to but his Laserface show in particular looks amazing. Here's the new single as performed as part of Laserface.

Oh and it looks like the album's been delayed to May 10. :(

I ended up winning free tickets through a competition today! I was at Kettama last night but I'm super excited to see / meet & greet especially and it said I would win a signed copy of the album so I'm not quite sure if I will get that or not considering it's been pushed back!

Really looking forward to hearing this.

Putting the 3 year old 'CVNT5' on the album which was also on Gareth's last album though. At least we get a good number of new songs anyhow.

Following from his collab album with Ashley Wallbridge this year, Gareth Emery is planning to release his fifth studio album (4th solo album) next year. 'Somebody' is out today. It's more of a pop friendly effort but it's amazing anyhow.

2nd single 'Yesterday' came out... yesterday. A bit more trance than 'Somebody' and I'm really liking this too.
