2018 by far! 2019 was ok, but not a memorable year apart from Glastonbury for me.

Hyde park, glastonbury and kylie and mates plus the release of step back in time were all great points of 2019. The low was releasing New York city as a single and as the single to promote step back in time made it worse, def a terrible decision.

New York City was a bad choice.

Releasing a left over song and also it being the only new song added was disappointing.

Kylie has so many better left over songs that could have made both a better bonus track and single.

To be fair though, there was a lot of demand from fans for a studio version of that song after she performed it on the Golden tour (although the finished version ended up being quite different from that).
It did get some attention from the fans but i think it was a complete failed result when produced.
I think the rumoured remix version of Step Back in Time would have been a better choice to promote the album.
That would have been the best option and in the ideal world the album would have had another brand new song added as a treat.

Ya that would have been great, I think if they had a new single that was like a dancing success the album may have extra opening sales. NYC wasnt a good enticer.

A single on the success level of Dancing would have been a good launch for the album as Dancing is one of those songs that attracts sales with any promo at all.

A reactive song like this was needed to launch the collection.

Dancing is great at pulling trickle sales and it's a great way to build sales which is great for dancing as it deserves to move up the list on her best sellers.
It certainly is deserving of all its success and i would hugely welcome further sales for the song.
