Great figure for IAC - I was expecting about 11m too based on Strictly being up 1m y-o-y.

Unsurprisingly, Small Axe flopped with just 1.1m against IAC. I've not watched it but it was an important commission from a big name so I don't think they'll be too bothered by the poor overnight rating.

Fantastic! I reckon ratings are going to be really stable this year - will be interesting to see how Friday/Saturday rate given they're usually much lower than the rest of the week.

The Saturday show this year is just a recap show in the vein of what they do with Love Island so it’ll definitely get lower ratings, would be a shame if it counts towards the overall series rating though!

9m for I'm a Celeb last night, peaking at just under 10m. The first episode has already been viewed by over 12.5m with catch-up views added.

That's very good for a Friday! Not sure why they decided to end the series on a Friday - they've could've probably added another 1m on Sunday.

3.7m for Royal Variety Performance last night, down on the 4.4m from last year. EastEnders was watched by 3.9m and Emmerdale was watched by 5m.

This is how it has performed since 2011 when it was made a permanent fixture on ITV (rather than alternative with BBC 1):

2011: 7.0m

2012: 8.6m

2013: 7.6m

2014: 6.9m

2015: 5.6m

2016: 4.6m

2017: 4.4m

2018: 4.3m

2019: 4.4m

2020: 3.7m

Monday saw Corrie commence its 60th anniversary week with 6m. The hour-long episode clashed with EastEnders which achieved 3.1m. Coronation Street: 60 Unforgettable Years rated 2.7m and the first of The Vicar of Dibley in Lockdown 10-minute specials rated 3.5m.

Also some ratings for BBC 1 on Saturday night:

The Hit List 4.6m

Strictly Come Dancing 10.4m

The Wheel 5.4m

Nearly identical to the weekend before:

The Hit List 4.5m

Strictly Come Dancing 10.3m

The Wheel 5.5m

and i bloody oop at eastenders

this is surely the closest Hollyoaks has ever been to them :sarah:

3.1m for Barbs last night... "well under 3m" for EastEnders.

Turns out the rating for EastEnders was 2.9m - obviously not brilliant at all but not "well under". Gogglebox won the slot with 4.6m.

Strictly was watched by 9.87m - the highest results rating of the series.
