This is all true as he knows Dannii very well

As far as I know, both these albums are on hold at the moment - not cancelled. Dannii hopes to support both releases next year, but at this moment it's not the right time for them to be released.

I can't say much more than this, but please do not think Dannii doesn't want these albums released or is trying to keep material from you to "p*** you off". Dannii has not finished promoting 'The Hit's & Beyond' album, and until she has it's stupid for her to support other collection albums.

Warner's have now checked with their business affairs department and have realiazed they do not own the unreleased tracks - so this tracklisting should never have been released into the public domain.

I have been reluctant to comment on He's The Greatest Dancer as this may or may not be a forthcoming single. More will become clear after Dannii's Children In Need performance tomorrow. I guess this could at some point lead to re-promoting The Hit's & Beyond album - but again these are only ideas and not confirmed.

This petition and negativity really isn't doing anyone any good. I hope I've made things a little clearer.

I read all this backlash on togermano, someone on there started a petition.

They all got in a frenzy because they heard Dannii wanted some say in this release, and they started saying how she's trying to fuck things up for her fans and turning fans against her, before they had any official word on what was going on. :manson:

I wonder if she will re-release the greatest hits with He's a greatest dancer on it?

It would be stupid to re-promote!! I mean, how long has SUP been released in UK and Oz?? <_<

It is also stupid to seriously "support" these albums anyway since most of the people don't know the material on both albums, why can't she just release both albums, and then release a brand new album!

To my impression, Dannii's management is so fickle about when to release the album. -_-

I still can't get over the fact that they released 3 singles, one each year, only to get a GH collection at the end of it.

Although theoretically we did practically get a new album's worth of new material, what with 3 singles, 5 new tracks and 2 b-sides to this era.

AATW are 100% to blame, they are notorious for release fuck ups and delays, this would never had happened had Dannii been releasing on another label.

You should say this thread is about the D Early Years and Platinum Collection albums...

She should really find herself another record label to be honest, all this just adds more delays to her music career.

Exactly. Sadly I cant see any label taking a chance with Dannii. All she needs is one good song to grab peoples attention.
This is just getting more and more pathetic, when "he's the greatest dancer" was announced to be released, I thought there will be a new album for next spring and Dannii will grab a bit more attention but now...

I do hate to repeat myself but dannii and her weird little label find more ways of p!ssing their fans of with each release so here I am again.

Personally, despite success or lack of I am surprised that dannii does not do anything about this. She is the most important person on her charva dance label. I wish she would just leave or infact...I really don't believe I am saying this, but get dropped .

So she can go else where and find a different label. I know allot of people believe she would not be able to find another label and she is at the end of the line, but no not really. She has proved time and time again she can bounce back. And I think this time would be no different. The best thing she can do is have her contract terminated and start again on a label that is for artists and not random dance music by unknown/faceless acts.

There is always a warner subdivision open to her I suspect. So far she has been signed to Warner twice. Once on eternal records and the other on London - London never wanted her to go, she left due to a two year delay in her Neon Nights follow up which is kind of ironic really

If she is smart she should beg for them back

It's obvious she has selling potential, AATW just don't know what they're doing with her.

Look at 'So Under Pressure' - a brilliant track that could have been a smash if a real big name had released it. They released it on a week when World Cup songs were clogging up the chart, without them it would have got #14, And what do you have with a tiny bit more promotion? That's right, a top 10 hit. Even though it had higher first week sales than 'Perfection'...

AATW are a tinny label that are notorous for their delays, release cancellations and promotion lacks, and they're really f'ing her around.

I'm sure she could sign to a bigger and better label that can handle her properly, give her the promotion she needs, release her singles/albums more consistantly. :(

I agree that AATW do not know how to sell an artist like dannii. But despite when SUP was released it was still getting no radio play and very little video play. So football songs or not I doubt it would have done well. If it did effect its perfomance then I think its a minor factor.

She was a favourite on radio 1 with her neon nights material. That was good promotion for her. But they wont play her AATW material.

The bottom line is though that her and AATW should clearly part ways. As apparently she has admitted that she is not happy with the pathetic delays etc

Well Radio 1 B-Listed YWFAM, radio just seems to have avoided her like the plague since 'Perfection', as the chart performance of the last two singles shows. :(

I think if they had pulled 'So Under Pressure' forward a few weeks it could have done better, it was getting quite good video play at the start, even a few of my friends who aren't the greatest of Dannii fans said they've been seeing it and really like it, and then it just fizzled out. :( The World Cup week didn't help a great deal either, pushing it down and getting it lost in the rush.

Despite its lack of substantial promo SUP would have been bettre of being released a few weeks earlier I agree - when the video play was at its peak.

I still can't get over the fact that SUP video was filmed in April, but the release was on ... like June!! -_-

That's only two months after filming?

The video premiered in mid April, release should have been a month after that I think...

Thats very disappointing. I was looking forward to both albums being released.
the biggest shocker really is that a video was made for "I Can't sleep at night", it was sent to a TV station, mixe's for the single was finalised. and then it got pushed back TWICE before it was scrapped. What a bloody joke! Her fans desperatly wait for her to release music and despite making a video for a song it does not get released. its a real slap in the face
