January 22, 20205 yr 'White Diamond' is clearly the superior song of the two. Very clearly, I wonder was it ever in consideration for a single.

I would love to part of an album meeting when the album is planned out, how they decide on the singles etc. I think it would be hugely interesting and also to see how many people are involved in the process of selecting singles.

January 24, 20205 yr I think based on what I've seen artists say, it's generally done by committee and a majority decision/vote wins.
January 24, 20205 yr Alot of the time they get it right but when they get it wrong it's really wrong e.g 2 hearts a lead single ahead of the one.
January 24, 20205 yr Author I think overall, the right single choices were selected. X is a good example of bad decisions, Fever is an example of excellent decisions.
