No, just some people with SENSES OF HUMOUR are finally speaking up!!!!

:cheer:

:o I have a sense of humour ^_^ , just not when I have have concerns about Robbie wearing a dress

I agree with Scotty, the media are going to have a field day when they see it and I really am not looking forward to hearing all about it.

I was really hoping for a Madonna appearance of some sort in this video maybe that's why I am so disappointed. :(

Tbh, I think if Madge did appear the press would be saying he had to use her to sell singles and promote himself :(

Yeah, you could be right there Scotty, maybe just aswell

Britney Spears got away with it, although Madonna was singing too in the song

Is that going to be released as a single?

If it is I hope Robbie doesnt wear another dress

Wonder if he'll dress up in various different Madonna guises throughout the video? That would be funny.

( But not the purple leotard and footless tights please. :puke2: )

Well, this can only be the intro for the video, right ?

I'm still hoping that the actual video will feature the usual Rob, that is not in drag lol

If there are only scenes in it with him dressed like that, I can live with it.

But I'm afraid I have to agree with everyone, the press will just love this...

Bet it will be. :P

Well, It would'nt suprise me in the slightest. -_-

He seems to want the press to slag him off.

Well he is certainly different - could you just see anyone else dressing up like that in a video - Robbie dosen't give a S**t & he is perfectly right, never one to follow the crowd, that is why his stuff is great ( Remember the Come Undone video - mind boggling or what ) so if he trans it up in this I am dying to see the storyline . I think he suits himself now & calls the shots no matters what he does. I dont think many around will object after playing to 3.4 ml people this year. The big nobs hair at EMI must be falling out with Robbies antics. I think its very funny.

Rock DJ is and will remain his most shocking and memerable video ever. Simply legendary ^_^
Yeah I do like that one as well - I also love the Sexed Up video - he really plays to the camera in that video & you can see the contempt in his eyes when he is telling the story. Great song & video.

I love the Come Undone video, its one of my favs

Lets hope Monsoon is right and the She's Madonna clip that we have seen is just the intro, or better still its just a funny wind up for Robbie forum posters

I remember the video that Queen sang in, all dressed up in drag doing housework, I wanna break free I think it was.

They got away with it, everyone loved it and thought it was funny at the time. So maybe there is hope for Robbie if he wants to wear a dress during his video.

I will watch and cringe if it happens.

I dont know - That video on YouTube looks a bit odd but you never know with RW - we think one thing & he does another- never one to follow the so called rules is our Rob - time will tell.

I have to say his earlier videos ( which had a darker element to them ) had some great ideas even up to & including Radio ( which is brilliant ) , his more recent dont really appeal to me , they dont grab my attention as much. I hope he does something good with She's Madonna - I dont care how he is dressed provided the video is a good one - although known him he will probably take the P**S.

I don't see what the big deal, if Robbie dresses in drag. It's nothing new in the British history of Rock'n'Roll - it was first done 40 years ago!!!

As well as Queen - I Want To Break Free video from 1984, there has been:

David Bowie - Boys Keep Swinging (1979 UK#7)

Rolling Stones - Have You Seen Your Mother Baby? (1966 UK#5)

Oasis - The Importance Of Being Idle  Kinks - Dead End Street (1966 UK#5)

As I've said before, I'm not a huge Robbie fan, but my opinion of him as an artist has rocketed as a result of his latest album - because of the musical risks that he has taken with it, whilst still producing half-a-dozen great songs on the album.
