It has always been an obvious single choice imo. It is the only song on Rudebox that has the potential to be #1, although I doubt Robbie will ever have another UK #1, what with the state of the chart :puke2:

Viva Life On Mars is great but is'tn single material at all imo!

I'm not sure it has a chance to be #1 to be honest, don't get me started on the state of the chart, never thought it would be like this :arrr:

It is the only song I would choose as a single myself.None of the others are singles material in my opinion. It's not my favourite but it will do really well I think and is really radio friendly. The fact that it's with the PSB also helps alot

I think the way things are going for Rob now, especially in the UK, it probably doesn't matter what is released as a single, he can't get a hit anyway. But I agree with Scotty. At least She's Madonna is radio friendly which cannot be said of many songs on the album and with some promotion (hopefully...) I think it could go Top 5. And at least it won't scare people off completely, which I think would have happened with Bongo Bong.

I have given up hope he'll ever have another no. 1 in the UK though.

The only way he'll ever have another #1 is if he takes a long break and then releases a comback single. But thats not gonna happen -_-
Oh no, I was just on the PSB site and it mentions the Edinburgh gig but says there is no truth in the rumour Robbie will be appearing

Swing 2 will no doubt do well and I suspect a hell of a lot more of the 2 million + people who usually buy his albums will come out of hiding and buy it in their droves, unlike Rudebox  I think he needs to win over more new fans cause seeminly most of his main fanbace in the UK only want him to play it safe <_<

Bland sells in the UK. I keep saying that. :(

I don;t think he should release any albums, he's churning out too many too quickly, we don;t mind Robbie overload, but you can overdo it with regard to the general public.

I love Swing, and I would love to see Robbie perform it again, but its been done to death by everyone now.

I too think that the general public would appreciate Rob more again if he didn't release anything for a year or preferably even longer. But we all know Rob is keen on finishing his contract with EMI, so I'm afraid that's not on the cards.

So, Rob won't be in Edingburgh with PSB !

I guess that could mean the whole article was rubbish, maybe She's Madonna won't be the next single

after all. Scotty, was there a mention of that as well on the PSB site? I mean if they say that gig with Rob will not happen, they could have dismissed the other rumour at the same time as well.

Well, at least some hope left. Don't you think they would say it if the other part of the story (She's Madonna being a RW/PSB single) was rubbish too ... ?

What excellent news. Thank you Lifelight :D

If it's starting to get airplay and will apperently be released next month so surely the video should appear shortly? ^_^

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Can't wait. :cheer:

Brilliant news, thanks Lifelight! To be honest I didn't want to get too excited, fearing in the end Bongo Bong would turn out to be the next single after all. :o :puke2:

Me, too. :( But, I really hope it won't. -_-
What do you think of the new dance version on Robbie Williams My Space - I like it very much 9 Viva Life on Mars ) - it could do well in the Dance scene - the Soulwax version of Lovelight has really take off in the clubs . Pete Tong in fairness has given Lovelight loads of publicity but will the mainstream fans like this change of direction for Robbie. Does Robbie really care at this stage as he can now make the records he always wanted to make - what do you think. I love the recent stuff & think that Rudebox is one of his best.
